The feminine is attracted to elements within the "bad-boy," but seldom the "bad-boy" himself. Actually, the ideal masculine male for the feminine female would be a good man who knows how and when to be BAD. This is to say, adopt the attractive and useful elements of both the "nice-guy" AND the "bad-boy." First of all, find your true purpose in this life, and let that purpose be your goal that is more important than any female. Females are attracted to bad-boys because they can't be led around by the nose. Females mistakenly interpret this independence as the bad-boy having a noble purpose. It's not true of course, the bad-boy has a shallow purpose, but it's better than having none!

Bad-boys offer excitement and danger, "We're going to go to the bridge on my motorcycle and smoke some weed, babe!" Nice-guys offer boredom and stability, "uhh what do YOU want to do, honey?" Real-men offer puposeful adventure, "I'm going to Mexico to search for exotic woods for my next project, are you in, or are you out?" Now, if you were a girl, doesn't the bad-boy seem more like a real-man than the nice-guy?

Bad-boys are always acting aggressively, either getting into fights or making threats all the time. Nice-guys have "evolved" past the need to be aggressive, and may even think it's bad. A real-man knows his purpose in life, and knows when and where to make a stand and kick some butt if pressed! Now, if you were a girl, doesn't the bad-boy seem more like a real-man than the nice-guy?

A bad-boy will go out with his friends even if his girl is ill. A nice guy will do whatever his girl wants to do. A real man knows his purpose in life, and if his girl is truly ill, he may comfort her, but if she's merely being pissey, he won't tolerate it. Now, if you were a girl, doesn't the bad-boy seem more like a real-man than the nice guy?

I could go on and on. The good news is that it's easier for a "nice-guy" to become a real man than it is for a bad-boy. Your first step is to find your all-encompassing purpose in life. Most things will flow from there.

Simply put: It is a combination of the lure of the forbidden, the desire to be different/do something different, to be noticed & to be ale to change someone to fit you.
Unfortunalty a majority of humans NEVER leave all that behind them. I should know. I've had two "bad boy" boyfriends, both on opposite ends of the spectrum from each other. I learned how to deal with the type and now have a guy who was a "bad boy" who outgrew his "bad girl" phase & is now a "good guy".
My advise is to be yourself. No matter what happens. Sooner or later someone who is the better match for you will show up.

For women with low self-esteem, there is a challenge in being able to "change the bad boy" into a considerate and appreciative lover. They do not seem to think that they deserve a better man; one who doesn't need to be "fixed".
If there weren't any women out there like this, then there would be less people on shows like Jerry Springer and Maury.

I love bad-boys, but not creeps. Creeps treat women like ****. Bad-boys are a turn on for good-girls if they're real men.

This situation is more noticeable involving woman who are young, naive, or they are just mentally immature and think they can change the bad boy.
