I agree with female circumcision. Also foot binding in China. Another topic that hasn't been in the news enough lately, the rights of women in Afghanistan after the Taliban. There are also honor killings where family members are allowed to kill females that dishonor the family (this includes being raped). Even in countries where it is illegal it is often ignored by local authorities.
