!!!!!!!Will be long-winded!!!!!!!

I had a horrible dream a few nights ago.

**Begin Dream**

I was walking down the street on a humid Summer night. As I passed by one of the nearby 7-11 stores, I bumped into a young man who, to me, looked like he was in his early to mid twenties. He had a look of surprise on his face when he whispered, "You are an exotic gift from heaven. Are you married?" I denied that I was married and said, "No. Why do you ask?"

[I'm skipping a BUNCH of content now due to it being extremely sexually explicit. Let's just say that I accompanied him to a motel and engaged in several naughty activities.]

This man and myself, well, we grew exceedingly obsessed with each other. I treated my marriage like it didn't mean a damned thing to me any more.

Ok I am 21 and I WAS talking to this 35 yr old marrid man... yes I know it was wrong so you dont have to give me the lecture. Well we met at the gym cuz we both play racquetball. We talked on the phone and did some stuff for about 2 weeks until his wife started to find out and started following him everywhere he goes now. Well he told me that he couldn't talk to me anymore b/c he didn't want his wife to find out and everything and so we stopped talking altogether. Well today I went up to the gym to play racquetball and he was up there playing with his friends and I caught him looking at me quite a few times when he thought I was looking away or something. I dont understand what this means or why he would still even look at me???? Do you think he will try to pursue me again in the future?? I am just wondering, thats ALL... im not trying to pursue him. Guys... can you answer this please?

I sometimes wanna kill myself because I'm scared of getting old. It just looks sooo boring and pointless. I know that sounds like a childish thing to say but I look at the adults I know and I think, "What's the point in hanging around if I'm just going to end up like that?" Does anyone else feel like that? And what can I do to stop worrying about it?

I feel like I'm controlling everyone's life, I'm the manager of a band so I feel like I need to be in control, but some of the band memebers think I'm too controlling. But I need to be because I also ride horses and I really need to be in control there and I hate it when I'm not. Like if I'm not handling everything everyone's problems and all I feel useless so it may just be a power think but I hate it. How can I stop being such a control freak?

on classic television?

Crazy?

Gomez and Morticia had shared interests (fencing) but supported each others separated interests (her unusual gardening, his "Zen Yogi"), they were openly affectionate and expressed appreciation for one another, they never belittled one another, were never condescending to one another, never schemed behind each other's backs.

They each took an active role in their children's rearing and took an active interest in their children's activities.

Their extended family also helped with the children, passed on family tradition, and did not undermine the marriage.

I think they were ideal. Creepy? Kooky? Mysterious? Spooky? Sure. But a loving and mutually respectful family.

Consider the following two types of people:

1) The person who is inwardly a very fascinating person, but just doesn't show it outwardly. (How should they become outwardly interesting?)

2) The person who is JUST PLAIN BORING.

There have been so many studies on the intelligence of men and women plus thousands of years as proof.
Im not talking about the individual intellegence but the 2 genders as a whole.
You cannot dispute the fact that most of the discoveries and advancments were made by men.
Most studies show that women usually take up the middle ground with the majority of geniuses being men.

Okay so this kind of a girl thing so guys, dont get disgusted. Me and this guy I've liked for really long time were sledding with my niece and nephew. I had these white pants on with a black jacket and matching boots. I slipped on one of the sleds and skidded down the whole slope on my butt. It isn't over yet. I expected to hear my crush laughing but instead he got really red and excused himself saying he needed to pick his mother up from his sisters house, and his mother was home! (I knew this for a fact) I wondered what was wrong and I saw my 3 and 4 year old niece and nephew crying. I asked them what was wrong and they said I got hurt and was bleeding. Turns out, I had my period and I was leaking through my white pants onto the snow. My butt left a whole trail down the slope to where I had fallen. We never went sledding or in the snow again.

What television family from the 50s or 60s (maybe into the 70s) do you think represented a positive, mutually respectful, equal relationship between husband and wife and parents and children?

Which ones are most problematic?

And why?

I have an opinion on the first question, but I am going to wait a bit to reveal it. I am almost certain it will surprise you.

One of the most authoritative theories about the constitution of society in the modern world is that economics and economic relationships define the fundamental structure of all social relationships, indeed of society itself. Both Adam Smith and Karl Marx, in their very different ways, either asserted or implied the primacy of economics and economic relationships as fundamental to the existence and evolution of nations and to the creation of wealth. But these views displaced an older conception of society which considered ethics and ethical codes as the fundamental bedrock of societies. In that older view, the success of a society was judged by its adherence to the ‘good’ rather than to its store of accumulated wealth. Ethical codes may have had a religious dimension, but it was the way conduct and behavior were regulated by or referred to ethical judgement that allowed for the stability, maintenance, and success of social relationships and, hence, of society as a whole.
