It is definatly a healthy way to live. I am the same way as you. If someone or something is bothering me I just let it go. I walk away from the person or the problem and never return to it. I want to be happy and not stressed. Although sometimes when something is bothering you and you would rather just walk away you have to deal with something that is going to cause you pain and stress because the stress of not dealing with it can be worse than just to try to ignore a difficult problem or situation. And I hate having to deal with other peoples problems and confronting people and dread it but know it has to be done. Its a tough world. Stay strong. Just do what your doing. Its not self indulgence it is taking care of yourself. I feel for you but try not to worry about what others think as I am trying to do. I will pray for you to have positive resolutions in life.

Though I could understand walking away from some situations, this could be a problem later in relationships whether personal or working on a job. Relationships take work. They don't just happen. You are not always going to agree and open communication could help. If you walk away from every job, people will not hire you. So, you have to weigh what happens when you walk away and if it is worth it to you. Yes, there are times that walking away is what is needed, but not in all situations.

Its not so much as being bad for you if you choose to walk away, its more to do with growing as a person. If you face what ever it is that's making you unhappy and deal with it then and there and in a calm exacting manner, you will grow into a much rounded person in mentally and personality way.
