I feel like I'm controlling everyone's life, I'm the manager of a band so I feel like I need to be in control, but some of the band memebers think I'm too controlling. But I need to be because I also ride horses and I really need to be in control there and I hate it when I'm not. Like if I'm not handling everything everyone's problems and all I feel useless so it may just be a power think but I hate it. How can I stop being such a control freak?

Distinguish the situations where you should be in control and when you should sit back. When riding a horse, definitely be in control. When managing a band, they need at least some freedom.

Amongst other things,it shows lack of faith in others(Partially ,also the lack of it in oneself). As an experiment, select one of the best member from your band and prepare him to take your place for a brief performance, after talking to the whole lot. After the performance, take views from others to improve and try again.Slowly, try to select the right person, train him properly and begin to delegate small pieces. The most remarkable mark of a leader has always been to delegate and groom people and horse riding has no comparison here.Rest depends upon your sense of sincerity. All the best.

It will take time. Try doing it by taking little steps. Stop yourself in little situations. See how you can do it and go from there.
