!!!!!!!Will be long-winded!!!!!!!

I had a horrible dream a few nights ago.

**Begin Dream**

I was walking down the street on a humid Summer night. As I passed by one of the nearby 7-11 stores, I bumped into a young man who, to me, looked like he was in his early to mid twenties. He had a look of surprise on his face when he whispered, "You are an exotic gift from heaven. Are you married?" I denied that I was married and said, "No. Why do you ask?"

[I'm skipping a BUNCH of content now due to it being extremely sexually explicit. Let's just say that I accompanied him to a motel and engaged in several naughty activities.]

This man and myself, well, we grew exceedingly obsessed with each other. I treated my marriage like it didn't mean a damned thing to me any more.

One day, my lover told me that he wanted to "invite me completely into" his "world". I didn't know what he meant by that statement, but I was eager to find out and willing to do anything in order to discover what he had in store.

He blind-folded me and took me to a commune occupied by a dreadfully strange cult of people who enjoyed frequent sadomasochistic rituals which often involved ghastly bodily mutilation and dismemberment. (And, yes, sometimes sexual activities were included.) Regardless, the most disgusting aspect of the dream, to me, was that I was eager to learn more and to, soon, participate in these wretched activities.

I'll spare you all from the long, gory details. I'll simply say that the dream led to such disgusting filth that I doubt I'll EVER be able to forget it. At one point, I sawed off one of my feet and experienced an orgasm from doing so. The dream ended with my husband locating the commune and killing everyone (except me).

He (my husband) walked away leaving me standing over my lover's dead body.

**End Dream**

I don't know if it'll help anyone, but here are some details about my current situation (and a little about me in general):

--I broke one of my ankles in my left foot on July 4 of this year, which is the same foot that I amputated in my dream. (Strange, eh?)

--Summer is my favorite season (which I mention since it was summertime in my dream).

--No marital problems- unless you count the fact that my husband has been pestering the hell out of me about buying another car. (I feel like choking him sometimes. LOL **I'm kidding.**) ---I make a point of mentioning this since the dream involved an affair.

--The man in the dream is definitely NOT someone who I would be attracted to in "real life".

-I'm 31 yrs. old. (Just thought I'd throw that in there since my ''dream lover'' was younger than I am.)

--I don't feel any need to "fit in" or to belong. (I'm sure you know why I make a point to mention this.)

That's all I can think of at the moment.

And, yes, I have strange and horrible dreams ALL THE TIME. But this one "took the cake," so to speak.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Well, according to my mother's Dream Dictionary, dream details sometimes mean the opposite. Like a death really means a birth, a closing door means that one is actually opening, etc.
For the affair part, I think it really means that you are strongly committed to your marriage. It seems like an "opposite" type thing here - based on what I've read about your life in your Qs and As.
For the cult portion, I think it could simply mean that you are open-minded and that you are willing to learn about things that are new and different to you. Does your dream mean that you WANT to join a cult or that you eventually will? Of course not. You are intrigued by the inexplicable and you are uninhibited in situations where you could stand to learn something. (The ends justify the means when it comes to knowledge).
I hope that might have helped some. :-D

LOL several times! That's the funniest thing I have seen on Yahoo answers! Mr T's wanting to take you to a motel, too.

I dare not interpret it. But I think you should examine your attitude to sexual activities and how you feel about - well - less conventional activities. It almost certainly doesn't mean you are some sort of pervert (well, ok, it might). I think it might mean that you want to spice up your 'married life' a bit, and take a 'walk on the wild side' with your hubby. Nothing wrong with it. Nothing whatsoever :-D

Have fun!

Good Lord woman...you have some issues. Meanwhile, I would like to invite you back to my motel room. Just don't saw off my ankles, please. Maybe you watch too many horror flicks? Especially the Hostel/Saw type? You may want to nip this one in the bud and talk to someone. This dream is NOT cool by my standards - although I've had wierd/nasty/violent dreams I've never experienced anything like this. The fact that you went to have sex with this man disturbs me. Maybe your subconsious is telling you to get off the drugs.
