The person that said there is no middle class family anymore is partially correct. There still is but it is gradually growing thinner. It all depends on where you live. But for the best anser you can have that is accurate is probably....

Well, income in Mexico is going to be very different than it is in the USA or Canada. Also, Median Household Income (MHI) in major cities is going to be higher, generally, than in rural areas like Appalachia or Mississippi.

Overall, though, you are in the middle class in America if your family's household income is 50,000-125,000 (roughly).

I think it depends on where in the US you work. Try this sight www.salary.com.

In Northern NJ it would be about 45k for a single person, entry level. For a family with two kids probably 100k.

i agree with all day its either poor or rich. i know i currently make about 28 grand a year. im doing ok got a roof food a table and car. im happy. even though im poor lol.

actually, there is no middle class family in america any more, there is either low class, or high class, the middle class has vanished.
