What's with you guys? I just got done reading some jackass's rant:
"Are women taking advantage of The Women's Liberation Movement by being liberal only when on their favor?
Women seem to act conservative when it comes to the men paying for movies, dinner or opening the doors for them etc... but on the other hand they want "equality" what is up with that why do women try to get the best out of both worlds... I think you should either be liberal all they way or conservative otherwise society in general will never give them the respect they deserve."
Many users agreed with him on this and I have to say I'm pissed. I'm the kind of woman who doesn't mind if a man opens a door for me, or offers to pay for a date, BUT I don't expect it out of men. Why is this a bad thing? The "equality" this user speaks of is actually the need for us to be respected. Why will we "never get the respect we deserve" unless we're one way or another?

So here we are another day,
Smiling politely at people we pass in the street going about their daily business,
As we go about ours,
I mean what’s the point? Why have we built this existence for ourselves?
Were born then spend the next 16 years learning at school then we leave and spend the next 49 years at work then if were lucky we get 10 or so years to retire and actually enjoy being alive,
I mean sure we have little perks in life like a nice car and surround ourselves with gadgets and gizmos to make it all more bearable,
That we can only buy if we follow the system set out above but if you ask me 90% of the human race seems to of lost the point of being a living breathing animal,
When you come down to it that’s all we are ANIMALS,
Just like lions or tiger, monkeys and birds,
You don’t see them learning and working?
I know what you’re thinking, “That’s what separates man from beast”
Well I can’t really argue with that,
Can I?
You know when you get home from work after you have cooked some dinner and settle down in front of the TV and you see some documenty about a tribe who live miles from the advanced world,
They don’t follow the same system we do yet they’re alive, happy, and im not sure on this but it seems like they have no crime and they all work as a team,
That’s what we use to be like until we “bettered” ourselves
Im not so sure we took the right road?
Yes we have technology and warm houses, running water etc but we also have murderers paedophiles and countless other bad things that im afraid to say we have created in our bid to make the world a better place,
If we could wipe the slate clean and start again I think I would try and keep the simple things you see that tribe on TV doing like building your own house with the help of your neighbours growing vegetables and keeping animals for your area having a social point like a big meeting hut/house where your tribe/neighbours meets to discuss important things,
Im not talking about living in the jungle and prancing round with spears im all for technology but im also for actually living my life and not spending all my time learning at school so I can go to work and pay the government all my money so they can then screw me over buy raising the tax on every item I buy to make my life feel just slightly worthwhile!
Im sure my system would have flaws but the best thing about it is we can actually spend time doing things together no longer does the dad have to miss his son/daughters first steps because he’s at work so some government official can buy another yacht community spirit would be alive,
Just like when your Nan use to tell you “I remember when you could leave your front door unlocked”

My brother is one of the most evil people I've ever known. He has a warped mentality that can change the littlest of issues into World War III. He will hear me complain about someone at work and develop a grudge against them, even though he doesn't know them and doesn't have to DEAL with them! He will then develop conspiracy theories, talk about dealing with them...before backing down. He gets seriously crazy about things that shouldn't worry him!

I also have this coworker(whom he hates but has never met ironically) who is a nasty person too. She has chased away a couple of my employees and angered many people at work because of her personality. She is a LOSER that has no people skills, yet is taking her little shift manager job a little too seriously.

I consider both of them total sociopaths, and the bane of many's existences. How do you deal with them?

Due to circumstances and events in my life, My personality is very negative, and depressing. I try hard to be nice and happy of course, and I don't want to be negative, but always being restricted from everything I want is hard to deal with! I really want to be positive and change my bad attitude, and I try to smile when I talk to ppl but I always look angry as hell and upset to them.
Ive been in counseling for quite awhile and its helped somewhat but I've still developed to be very negative and depressing. (most likely from lack of sex and affection and it kills me)
any advice to change my attitude?

I just started to study personality in my high school psychology class. So, to start off we did graphology (I think, it's called that. Figuring out a personality by their handwriting.) and then the Kiersey Temperment thing.

So, if you're familiar in both of them, do you think that they are accurate? Especially the graphology one.

I personally don't think the graphology one is very accurate because my results were really contradicting.

Anyways, what's your opinion on the two?

I had the most akward dream and I havn't had a dream in a really long time.
Ok here it goes....
So I'm sitting around at my moms house and there all these fish tanks and there's fish and other animals in each one. They were all really big but one of them was really small and it had a cat in it and it could bearly fit and it was really depressed (it was one of my cats). So I say we need to try and get her out but my mom says no leave her. So we leave and go to this McDonalds. We slid down the little slide thing and we're in a factory. So there's all these tables layed out there also and a stage in the factory. There's all this really crappy food out there and a bunch of meat but I'm a vegetarian so I couldn't eat. So I'm really bored and there's all these pregnant foreign women running around in these fancy purple dresses. I was sitting there in this dress I hate.
