deliberately speak with an accent.

whisper the phrase to yourself before saying it.

pick one person you like and speak to them. others are just listening in.

and practice your speech - go thru it several times, preferably standing up and with some audience (make family listen to you)

The Stuttering Foundation of America has some good information on their web site and a great book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer."

you'll think i am kidding, but could you sing your presentation?

lots of people who stutter don't stutter when singing. I have no idea why.

I stammer. Speech therapy helped me enormously. Check out this site for more information:

rehearse your presentation... if there's no way that you could rehearse it (for instance, if you will be having a spntaneous or an extemporaneous speech), I suggest that you recite tongue twisters (preferably unfamiliar to you) loud and clear before your presentation.
