I spent 2 or 3 days not sleeping or eating and often when i closed my eyes i kept seeing faces, some that looked like normal people looking ar me but mostly demonic, five times scarier than anything ive ever seen on any horror movie. The visions have stopped now but i found that the best way of dealing with them was to stare back at them with contempt and patronise them in my thoughts, just generally laugh in their face, then they tended to just look frustrated and disapointed that they could'nt intimidate me. I dont know for sure if these were visual hallucinations or something far more sinister. Any suggestions?

I had the most amazing dream and although I have an idea what it means, I turned it into a piece of prose.
The style plays with wording, structure and occasionally defies rules in order to convey the fluidity of a dream which was realistic but also jumped from place to place and had a surreal and ghostly feel.

GRATEFUL for comments, thoughts and criticisms. Here is the link to the short piece entitled Ramshackle Beach Hut In the Sun

In public, I mean. These guys just don't put the necessary work into their feet - and it shows. I say ban the practise - it could frighten young children.

When people here admit they are mentally unwell they are always being advised to see a psychiatrist.

Medical model rules OK! Why?

Why take medicine as a first resort and why so much trust in psychiatry as a discipline rather than psychology.

I have been a Service User for fifty one years and
have seen many pills being taken off the market as dangerous and there is no scientifically proven research to say ECT works, or even why it might work if it did.

I had this illusion of a sex addict one day and asked myself why is sex useless? Might I be becoming a sex addict or is it just the fact? Yes I am pretty sure that it is the fact but then why aren't people concentrating on other problems other than sexual intercourse to have a better life?

with someone who had broken up with her ex just last June 2007 and they were together for like 5 years? Don't you think it's just too soon or could it be that there are just some people who heal quickly and want to enter into another relationship as soon as possible? Btw this woman claims to be "in love" again but the thing is ... the object of her affection, her "new" love interest is oceans away from her and she wants this other person to make a commitment to her. What do you think?

And by the time you appreciate what you have it is too late and another cycle of grieving for what you had, and worrying about what happens next begins again.

I have posted a suggestion onto the Yahoo boards requesting that we have a "counter" showing how many times each question is viewed, because I think it would be fun and informative to know.

As this is the section that I post to most, I am posting this question here.

If you would like to back the suggestion, would you visit here?

People consider suicide as the taking of your own life.My question here is what all counts as suicide.I know that they say shooting yourself, cutting you wrist, jumping off buildings, hanging your self, things like these are suicide. What about stuff that you know will kill you but not as fast as the first group. If you know that smoking will eventually lead or contribute to your death but you do it anyway does that count as suicide. If you know that drinking can cause you to die or lead to your death after years of doing but you continue anyway knowing whatthe oucome will be does it count as suicide. Some might say that suicide is only when you choose to end your life. But if you choose to do things that will cause your life to end at some point bcause of those chosen actions how is it different than suicide. You are still killing yourself it just takes longer.s there some kind of loop hole in the bible about suicide,or do you decide what you want to count as suicide and what you

Any though

I am about to explode. So far I have seen a couple of buildings that do not have much security personal. I have been thinking seriously of suicide since my birthday. what is the best way between 3 buildings.

1) A school that is about 4 stories high but I will land on the train tracks. Will the train tracks melt the flesh or will the train rip the body first?

2) An under construction building when there are no workers.

3) A building near the expressway, but I do not know if innocent people will die by the car accidents that will occur.

Does such a thing even exist?

I would like to know what my handwriting and/or signature says about me from a personality or psychological standpoint.

It's the number one thing they are good at. It amazes me at how much calories women can burn by talking incessantly about themselves. I have talked to so many girls that I eventually developed a "Tune Out" or "Tune In" mechanism. I can't have an intelligent conversation with any of them. They get bored with topics such as religion, business, politics, but not celebrities, gossips, and weddings.

This is the majority of women.
