Like all the conspiracy nuts (Ron Paul) want us to do, how do you increase the money supply for a growing population and economy?

Buy more gold, right. But I mean, WHAT do you purchase more gold with -- if every dollar is equal to a dollar's worth of gold? Know whatta mean?

In the animal world, there have been many studies based on mating rituals, and clear patterns emerge about behaviour patterns both for the species and between genders.

Some attempts have been made to apply the same kinds of studies, most notably in books including "The Naked Ape" by Desmond Morris.

It occurs to me that in Western Society, a great deal of our "moral code" is designed to control, or associate guilt with our natural impulses, often those imposing guilt also offer forms of absolution and in so doing exert enormous psychological control over those who feel guilt.

It is also interesting to note that some of the most vocal repressors of sexuality are oft times exposed to be highly deviant themselves (viz Ted Haggard).

Students of history and culture will also note the changing attitudes to age of consent, homosexuality, polygamy, promiscuity and deviance throughout the ages so...

What is "normal" human sexual behaviour?

I never thought I would be the kind of person that I am today. Everything I used to love I now hate, and I am doing things I know i could get in a lot of trouble for- like drinking, smoking, doing drugs, shoplifting, etc. The only times I can have fun is when I am partying, but all the rest of the time, like when I am at home or in school I am deeply depressed. I don't want to fallow the path I am on because I know it won't lead to good things. But what should I do, because the path to "success"- going to school, getting a job, etc. - is so boring and depressing it makes me want to shoot myself. But those things are what life is all about, right?

"A request for a change in a person’s behavior must be handled with great diplomacy. One may want to sit down with the person who is causing the conflict, admit one’s part in it, and explain why the situation has become intolerable to you."

I copied it from:

which is a women's site. I really like the sentiment, and a lot of people could benefit, eh?

This is for a novel that I am writing.

This little girl is 7yrs old.. Her name is Lily. She was raised by a man named paul, who exploits her abilities for his own selfish gain.

Lily is taught to obey commands from someone she considers as poweful. She obeys Paul's every command, like a dog. She has been used to kill innocent people, even her own mother.

When Paul was arrested for kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Lily was asleep at the time. She was taken to a childrens home. When she wakes up, she realizes that her master isnt here. She threatens to kill the other children if noone takes her to him. The staff injected some drug that calms her down. Lily doesnt want to play with the other children. She's always alone.

The other children are afraid of her, so if she see people run away from her, she gets apprehensive.

She's 7 yr old, and she can barely speak. I think the only word she can say is "Master" nothing else.

How would you describe this girl?

Despite being called "his pet". she actually takes that as a sign of love. She really shows affection for him. Paul is the only one she knows.

She doesnt know what a mommy or daddy is. She can't talk at all.

Do you guys think she has a mental disorder? If so what Is it and how can it be treated?

First of all... I DO NOT LIKE THESE THOUGHTS!!! I really needed to make that perfectly clear. I can't stand it...

For about a month now horrible sexual thoughts about children (even those in my own family!) have been popping into my mind, it makes me so sick that I sometimes have to grab my head, tilt back, and scream just to get it to go away. It looms over everything I do.

Part of the problem seems to be that I'm obsessing over it, instead of just letting it pass. But can you blame me? Every time one of these thoughts pops into my head, I try to fight it away, which only seems to make it stronger.

My biggest fear is that these thoughts will follow me for the rest of my life, and I'm only 16! I worry that thoughts such as these will stop me from experiencing life to it's fullest, and I fear I'll never be fit to start a family of my own because of it.

So what should I do? Up to this moment in my life I've always been sure I was a good person, now I don't know what to believe...

Hello !
I’m preparing an exposition of Jean Auel’s « Clan of the Cave Bear » novel for my anthropology class.
I reeeeaaallly need to know which were the “real” tribes or clans of human (homo sapiens sapiens populations) that she used as model for her novel. I assume that all those descriptions of magic, rites, marriage, hunting came from a “combination” of real facts…
Ps: sorry about my English I just got all mixed up with French…

I'm doing my research paper on "Why do men rape women? Is it a psychological disturbance or cultural deviance?"
I have to present both sides objectively with at least 2 academic journals presenting each side. I've found 2 articles for the cultural deviance position but not the other position. Any ideas of where I can find journals to support that men rape women because they are psychologically disturbed? I've already tried Google Scholar and my school's journal host such as PsycInfo.
Thanks for your help!
