And I saw "mind rape" earlier, what is that?

"Let's try to keep peace in the family" is a useful phrase. It can be used for good or for evil.

The tantrum works, if you don't throw a lot of tantrums.

Nagging certainly works. I haven't found an effective nag-repelling method, short of homicide--and that's, shall we say? an inelegant solution. I really must learn the technique; if it's the wave of the future, I might as well learn to ride it.

Passive-aggressive methods. Choice of champions.

The threatened boycott, the cold shoulder, non-engagement, shunning. Ah! High school days!

Sabotage. Poison tongue methods. Blackmail.

Cooperating with the other openly and sincerely is a desperate measure. Almost invariably, the other reads it as weakness, and tries to seize the throne.

Best way to control a relationship is to be the only one in it.

Mind rape appears to be the psychological control of thought through Menticide, the systematic effort to undermine and destroy a person's values and beliefs, as by the use of prolonged interrogation, drugs, torture, etc., and to induce radically different ideas; another word for brain washing.
http://www.lermanet.com/scientology/ **The most common one I can think of is sex, oh but is that one so bad when you come to think of it? No, I guess not. Especially when there is love, trust and being in tune with each other and the sex is extremely hot. However, the effect backfires when one is not happy with their lot.

To focus on self control, to maintain self direction.

The principle of do not allow any thing to alter or destroy good posture in yourself. Both internal and external.

The capacity to let go, if that really is required, under the circumstances that things are far too negative if not done.

The rest are attempts to control what cant be, another person.
If it comes to the point that you must, its time to exercise letting go of them.

There is either conversation, agreement and compromise where required or there is an ending.

As to what mind rape is - I dont know. But it sounds intolerable. Refer to action letting go.

I dont want to control the relationship - I want to control myself.
If it needs to be controlled - refer to action letting go.
If it can be allowed to exist in a state of agreement - refer to action stick around, this is interesting.

Thats my take on it.

Seems that women have lots of emotional tools to confuse us straighforward blokes. We are idiots in our own way. But I wish you luck.
Their tools include 'emotions' and crying for unknown reasons. Even if you buy them a house. Baffling!
I am researching 'Gender Studies' at the moment but I regret that I have not had much enlightenment from Johnny Lesbo or similar, yet.

My ex-wife would use our child, threats of divorce, ganging up (either with her eldest Son, or her so-called Mother, or even friends who only knew 1/2 the story), withholding sex, finances, my decision to be a SAHD, my other two children from previous relationship (i.e. causing hassles with my ex so as to create hostilities knowing it would reflect to the children), ona couple of occasions using physical brute force - and the list goes on...

Sex can be one of them. One partner intentionally withholding it from the other can have a huge effect on the relationship.
