Too many variables to answer this one. However, either situation, when managed just right can be very lucrative to a woman. As a sober, high end prostitute or a single mother with multiple, successful and employed baby daddies, the income potential is quite large. (Really, either situation is much like the other.)

You sure this question is loaded enough? Sure you don't want to add some more buckshot?

I suspect you believe that a single mom can take a child support check that, in most cases couldn't keep a roof over her child's head, add some free groceries from WIC and a Welfare check, and magically make a life for herself that involves Cadillacs, furs, pearls, a luxury home, and days spent lying back on her butt eating bon bons. It just doesn't work like that. And none of that money is for her. It's for the support of the child.

Most prostitutes aren't doing very well either. They're in constant danger of being arrested, raped, being infected with an STD or (if just the right guy picks them up) brutally, sadistically murdered. Many have addictions and very little education, or they'd have a different career. The only thing the prostitute and the single mom have in common is that society scapegoats them both and makes both suffer for "sins" that are really everyone's problem.

If I didn't have a conscience, I'd say I'd much rather be the man paying the prostitute a lousy fifty bucks, or the man writing a check every month without having to deal with any of the challenges and struggles of raising a child-- alone--while having to work one or more jobs to supplement that big, fat child support check. In almost all cases he's making more money than either woman--and nobody hates him unless he's hateful.

There is more money being a call girl, then a prostitute over an 18 year period. There is more money to be made as a single working mother if you learn enough to get the right job. My younger daughter has 2 wonderful kids and a husband, but she taught herself Microsoft Office frontwards and backwards. She learned it while being a receptionist for $15,000 a year. Now she earns (2 years later) $96,000 a year.

Or you can stand under the street light wait for some john to pick you up and then become another statistic.

I understand the question. Just remember they never have just one child so the 18 years becomes 25-30 with the right timing. The prostitute has jail and disease to worry about.

The average life expectancy for a pross is about three years once she goes on the streets. Drugs, disease and murder shortne the lives of ALL prossies. Quite a question! As for the 18 year period, no woman ever survived that long on the streets...
Can't spend it after you're dead.

You might make more money as a prostitute, but you might also get HIV, death as a salary doesn't sound so nice. If you want money, work full-time and pick a trade which allows you to learn part-time. Once you're qualified, you'll make more money.

Living either way is not a good lifestyle. Yet, people do what they feel and have to do in order to survive, survival is the operative word here.

Actually if people don't understand your questions, it is unfortuante for you, not them. You needed advice or you wouldn't be here. I agree with another answer, the question is not understandable, just not sure what you are asking.

English please.

You seem to imply that a single mom can't hook on the side.
