with someone who had broken up with her ex just last June 2007 and they were together for like 5 years? Don't you think it's just too soon or could it be that there are just some people who heal quickly and want to enter into another relationship as soon as possible? Btw this woman claims to be "in love" again but the thing is ... the object of her affection, her "new" love interest is oceans away from her and she wants this other person to make a commitment to her. What do you think?

Sounds to me like she's in re-bound mode. Anyone that is fresh out of a long relationship and thinks they're in love again so soon is definitely confused and in need of immediate love because they are still hurting. She's trying to cover that pain by tricking her brain into the thought that her painful emotions are gone, replaced by new love.

The first forage into dating after a long term relationship is called transitional. You don't stand a chance. It rarely works out. Most people coming out of a long term relationship look for a new one quickly. It helps to ease the pain and you feel awkward alone after having someone for so long.
So, nope. I would run away.

well... i found out (kinda after i was in love with the man) that my fiance had seperated from his wife of 12 years one week before we met. out relationship was incredibly fast paced, and very intense. I've spoken with her, and realize hes not the same man with me as he is with her.

Sometimes when you realize the person you're with isnt the one you're supposed to be with anymore, and its over. You dont pick when you meet "the one".

Now, if i had known at the time when we started dating that she had left only a week before, i honestly doubt i would not have continued to date him. but, im' happy i did stick around. because i've never been so happy in my life. if it hadnt worked, i'd just have chalked it up as another relationship. Not everyone goes into a relationship, initally, expecting the end result to be true love, marriage, 2.5 kids, and a picket fence.
