Consider rape, sexual abuse,severe handicaps, poverty as a child, beatings, murders and other things that people really do experience in life before you answer. Please answerers before you respond, be aware that horrible things can and do happen to people and these people do suffer. This has happened to me so many times, and I don't know if it's really happening or if I'm dreaming...I'll be sleeping and I feel like I need to wake up, but I can't . I try to move, scream but I can't..I struggle and struggle until finally I get awake. Why do I do this?

My whole life has been very deprived and unhappy. I've always been in the wrong place, at the wrong time with the wrong people, and a majority of my life has been lived in my imagination to try and ease my anger and sadness. I've been treated like **** from my family and by people in school my entire life, so of course school always sucked for me. I've also never had any friends, and I've had almost no fun. Im dull now from lack of fun.

-People who have tried to give me advice don't understand how bad off I've been and give me very shallow advice from their incredible lack of understanding. I'm also lied to on a daily basis by a family member, and ignored like I'm nothing by them all of the time. I have felt trapped, isolated, and in despair for most of my life, to the point where I'm actually addicted to pain.
I don't need any advice, but I wanna ask you all, do you understand how angry and sad that would make someone be, if they had to live that kind of life for almost 20 years?

I was in the local graveyard, making out with my friend (who I have a crush on) and it was pitch black in the middle of the night. Then I fell asleep (yes, I fell asleep in a dream) and when I woke up (still in the dream) he was gone and the sun was rising. Also, shortly after I woke up (in the dream) a bunch of rotweiler dogs were chasing me.
So, does this mean anything?

It seems like women's rights have come so far in this era, but have backtracked as well.

What I mean is, when I tell people I want to be a Nun, about 50% of people start getting into my personal business by urging me to 'go have sex' or 'get married' or 'have kids'!

I thought being a woman meant more than just what I do with my sex organs!

I used to have dreams like somebody pushing me under water & I felt like I was trying to get air & then I woke up.

Another one I had wasnt a dream it was like I was half sleep & I felt this heavy feeling came over me like but at the sametime I couldnt breathe & I couldnt feel my heart beating & when I kept trying to push myself up I felt paralyzed.

okay i normally wouldn't be asking this, but for some reason it bothers me. I had a dream i was like an adorable juvenile Cheetah, who wore a blue, light green, or teal cap (I vaguely remember the color) that was hand knitted. In the dream, I was like someones pet, and did their bidding. I think i was like a hitman of sorts, and annoyed the living daylights out of people.

Its kind of amusing, but its reoccuring, and i rarely remember my dreams.

I thought feminism meant struggle for equality for ALL women, regardless of race, color, nationality, language, ethnicity, religion. How can some be so concerned with equal rights for women, yet not give a f*** about women in other countries being tortured and killed for being women?

This is a followup question about a Saudi woman who has been sentenced to 200 lashes after being gang raped. How come we don't care to discuss these issues, but we'll go back and forth all day long about all kinds of non-issues?
