I had a dream that there was a bright light outside my front door....I looked over to my son and he was pointing outside the front door...I looked out...and there was a man sitting on my steps....I knew who it was right away...I could barely see his face it was so bright....the then got up....strethced out his hands wide and wrapped his arms around my house as if he was hugging our house. I woke up scared to death of what I saw...in my dream I was in awe...I could not move at all...I felt the same as I woke up. today, I am having family trouble, my wife left the house and does not want to be with me anymore after having online affairs with guys half her age and she is drinking heavily. She also treats the kids like crap anymore. This was all of a sudden with her. Before the xbox live and internet, she was a loving mother and wife. But I keep thinking about this dream...hugging the house...does this mean that it wil eventually work out for us?

From reading a lot of questions and answers here about "rape", I've noticed that women always say its about power, while some men will say its about sex.

Now... why would a woman know better than a man? I think rape is not a black and white thing, and like everything else, there are many reasons a man would rape a woman.

You can't just say a certain action has the same motivation for "everyone" because everyone is different and has different motivations.

I think its about power in some cases and sex in other cases.

But back to the original question.. how would a woman know better than a man? Its like a man telling a woman what child birth feels like.

I have a conservative friend that hates unions and feels that the current minimum wage is to high for what he calls "un-skilled" labor. He say's the reason he is deserving of a higher wage and standard of living is that he went to college. While I recognize education as a valuable entity, I question his reasoning for the disparity. If it were not for labor nothing in this great country would get built, transported, maintained or transformed from imagination and paper to the final product. Hell, he can't even change his own oil or perform a simple home repair, yet he still believes he somehow possesses the skills that demand higher compensation. If his time is worth say one hundred and fifty dollars an hour to perform a task for his employer than why is the guy that fixes his car or mows his lawn not worth twenty five dollars an hour? Where does he think consumer spending comes from in this country?

On a personal level what is the worst thing you can imagine happening to yourself.

Personally I would hate to go blind. I am lucky enough to be able to have perfect vision, and to lose that would be disastrous considering my hobbies.

What this body language meant to you?

For example; You drink a glass of water and someone also doing the same thing by your side. Then you jumping around and the same person do the same. Later you try to change your act like dancing the way you dance and so the same person also do what you do. You notice it.

When you answer, it would be interesting to know...

If you have had few(0-5)/several(5-39) or many (40+) partners (though if you do not want to answer, naturally, you don't need to)
What stage of life you are in (young, 30something, senior)
Your gender

And finally, do you wish you had experienced fewer partners, the same number, or more.

Just to get the ball rolling. my answer is:

(many/30something/same)

And it would be delightful to hear the reasons you choose your answers.

I dreamed of a very big green snake that seem to be hissing at me in intimidation but then I saw 2 ot 3 "balls" going down its body and I thought it was my baby (but I do not have one) or some babies the snake ate. Then I somehow learned it ate some turtles. Then there were some eggs, really big ones, and the biggest one was hatched but i do not know what developed in the eggs. The snake hissed at me again and I woke up. However, when I went back to sleep that same green snake meet me again in my dreams. In this dream I was not really scared of the snake for myself but for my baby but the crazier part there was never a baby in either dreams. And, I do not have a child. Please help me firgure out what this mean. THANKS!

My boyfriend and I let go of a serious relationship about 3 months ago due to distance. He still called me on the phone every few days, because we agreed to be friends. Last week, he sent me this long love letter asking me if I still loved him- he told me he cries at night, and a bunch of other cute mushy gushy stuff. He was incredibly passionate, so much that it actually seemed like he'd never get over it. I believed it- because he was always like that.
I told him we had to let go, if not for the time being; it'd be easier, and if we're meant to be we'll get back together.
Then he sent me another telling me he couldn't let go- the letter was even more passionate than the first. It sounded a little obsessive, but knowing him, it sounded like he'd never get over it.
Last night he called me at 1 AM. He mostly complained about school, but didn't even mention the letter he wrote me- which apparently had him all shook up.
