I always hear feminists try to wiggle out of questions about the sexist nature of feminism with things like "I'm not that type of feminist" or "Well (insert name of sexist feminist leader) doesn't speak for ALL feminists."

There's always a means to pass the buck along.

It's hard to pinpoint what feminism is really about when people with seemingly diametrically opposite views are under the same blanket.

You'd think feminists would want to get rid of the "bad apples" that are marring the movement.

...& yet feminist blogs & feminist websites seem to have no problem agreeing with & promoting the works of the "bad apples."

Feminism seems to be very fragmented & inconsistent.

Have you ever felt like you hated who you are? You want to change but you cant because you know people would treat you differently. What would you do if you felt this way?

You could be at your wit's end and feel like you've tried every possible tactic to prevent someone from having a meltdown. Before you attempt more drastic methods, ask yourself why you are attempting to keep things as they are. You may be better off once you've stepped beyond your fear of change and let go of control.

White people say that the Egyptians are not black or ******* or whatever. You say they are mixed, mixed with what? remember, white people are the first people to start this race thing, black, white, etc.. You people have said that one drop of black blood makes you black, right? So if the Egyptians or Israelites of Africa are of dark skinned surrounded by other black africa countries what makes u think they are of any other people. You people are the ones who started this race color crap. What is a ******* or who is black

Do u think that society confines and/or frees the individual from tyranny of irrationality and disorder. If so please explain and just say an example from Lord of the Flies.

I've been posting similar comments here & STILL haven't found one satisfactory answer to explain the inconsistency here.

-NOW supported Andrea Dworkin... an anti-male sexist.

-NOW claims to be a "feminist" organization.

-Feminism is supposedly fighting against sexism.

-Feminism is supposedly an egalitarian movement.

So either NOW is not a feminist organization or mainstream feminism condones anti-male sexism.

I'm sorry, but you can't have it both ways. Can anyone explain this?

Ever notice that when a woman has had bad experiences and goes on a man-hating rant.. she is usually supported, given sympathy and agreed with.

On the other hand.. a man who goes on a woman-hating rant is called a misogynist, is told "he is meeting all the wrong women", and told he has poor dating skills.

Isn't this yet another example of women being painted as the victims and men as the monsters?

Yes, it seems that your sweet little Gloria Steinem was a CIA agent and worked with them to use feminism as a means to destabilize society:
