Or intelligence and maturity?

Sure, as you mature you naturally are able to become smarter. Just because you mature doesn't mean you're aging though. Maturity comes when you are able to grasp things in life with an understanding, without judgement or humor. Only when you are able to face the world with a mature mind are you able to increase your intelligence. You will only fail if done otherwise.

A mature person is more likely to exude intelligence and an intelligent person is more likely to act more mature.

I am sure there is a link of some sort, like the kind of humor you like in conjunction with your level of intelligence, but intelligence is more genetic than you think.

I personally think maturity has to do with the amount of responsibilities you have.

A person can be immature and highly intelligent at the same time. A mature person can be highly intelligent. You can't make a theory one way or the other. Both states exist.

Only in the experiential state. With experience (maturity) comes common sense. Intelligence is more of a genetic condition and is with us from the start. You need both.

No, intelligence is something you have or not, regardless of age.
Wisdom, however, is something gained with experience.
