It means send this "someone" to see a professional, like as in psychiatrist, before you become part of the meltdown.

Change is the only constant we can expect in life. And when we let go sometimes we let life progress. It is in our nature to hold on to what we are used to and cling to the familiar, but in letting go and welcoming change we find authentic experience and life more abundant.
