To prescribe oneself with a stigmatised herbal medicine carries a significant amount of resposability. As with all prescriptions the side effects have to be taken very seriously and measured against required benefits, any denial will continue to stigmatise and demonise.Self diagnosis will be frowned upon by the medical profession, the pharmasuitacle industry ,and government ,for obvious reasons. The mental state of the herbs user is of paramount importance, age ,social and financial circumstances also play a major roll.Self diagnosis and prognosis can be extremely dangerous, and in some caes very helpful. This will depend on the inividual.

I am constantly dreaming about missing the bus or not being able to open my school locker or being late to class. None of those things ever happened to me back when I was in school over 30 years ago. What does this type of dream mean?

Now that the U.S. Dollar is at an all time low, and probably going to get even worse, when will the Dollar start to rise again? When do you anticipate the Dollar being 1.20 in Euros? And finally 1.00 in Euros? Thanks for the help!

Many don’t like to hear the truth, so you don't tell the truth
For example:
If someone sings badly, you should tell them they sing badly, and they can select some other path
If someone dresses badly, you should tell them to change their style of dressing.
Some child comes to your home, and it is so naughty and also you are scared that it might hurt your kid. Still you keep quite.

Don’t forget to star if you like this question ... Hey this is only a reminder, not a request.

For as long as I can remember I have been stressed and anxious when standing in front of people. I'm a junior in high school now and in the last presentation I did I passed out about the third or fourth sentence in. I shake horribly to the point where it is uncontrollable, and my breathing is so rapid I can barely speak. This happens now even when I am asked to just stand in front of people to read what I did for homework. Is there a specific name for what it is I have, or is it just an extreme sort of anxiety?

There's this guy that I work with that also go's to my school(highschool). He always glares at me in a funny way and sometimes he pushes me out of his way "get out of my station!" (we work at a fast food restraunt). I can't tell if he likes me or not because he is a funny guy, it just might be his personality. He glares at me because i smile and eventually start laughing because glaring makes me laugh and i can't take him seriously. He also has backed into me too and yelled "sexual harrasment!" It's hard to tell what he's thinking because he's funny. He's also said "quit staring at me!" if I glance at him. Thanks!

Whatever you views are on the statistics of who commits more abuse are (you are entitled to those views whether they are supported by factual evidence or not) - in the end does it REALLY matter who does it more?

When women do it - it's wrong.
When men do it - it's wrong.

Do two wrongs make a right?

MORAL, ATTITUDE TOWARDS OTHERS,

2007-10-28 19:15:38 · 4 answers · asked by dmbhimani 1 in Psychology

I believe that there is a psychological attraction to the very source of the warmth, comfort, heartbeat, and nourishment that we first experienced as infants. This may have imprinted into our subconscious memories as a similar sense of comfort of the womb had presented to us prior to birth. I wonder if that is why we live in homes.. does it replicate the safety, security, comfort, and nourishment that was present in the womb? Do we create housing that vaguely represents a pseudo-womb for adulthood? The modern home provides isolation from the outside world, centralized form and function, and contains the elements of survival and comfort.. (food, water, shelter, climate control). Is it possible that this is a subconscious portrayal of the experience of existence within the womb? Is this a physical manifestation of a subconscious memory? I do tend to think in different ways and have many thoughts concerning everything. Please share your thoughts on my hypothesis.

are more aggressive (and commit more acts of domestic violence against men than the other way around) when the overall stats for perpetrators of violent crimes are heavily male? (The arrests, and convictions.) If women really are more often the "aggressors", wouldn't it be visible outside the home as well? Why are most violent crimes male-to-male if women are such aggressors?
