In order to reach self-satisfaction, you must accept yourself for who you are.

While you can still strive to be better, you cannot have self-realization without self satisfaction and confidence.

I, for example, simply realized I am who I am, I will not know the secrets to the universe, and realized this is the only life I KNOW I will have. That helped me accept who I was, which brough self satisfaction, and general happiness in life.

The level of satisfaction one can achieve in his life is purely a stand 'alone phenomenon' and education, morality or anything else has no direct bearing on it.It's a kind of mental state in which we accept a level which satisfies us fully and from it we derive the self satisfaction .In it's peak form,we can say it's the ultimate level.Call it the highest form of self satisfaction,if you so desire.
