And then end up shaking their hand two hours later. Disgusting....
It's like I was touching their--nevermind. >_<
EDIT
"Your kitchen work top or chopping board have more bacteria than a toilet seat."
Even though that is true, it's the TYPE of bacteria that concerns most people. STDs have a way of lingering on certain areas, right? If you have a virus and don't wash your hands, there is a small chance a few fluids may still be lingering. All I would need is to shake your hand with an open cut on mine and I'm well on my way to developing an STD.

Oh yeah. Puts you in a funny position when you know the guys are not only not washing their hands, if the line is long enough, some drunk %!##$% decides it's time to start using the sink as a urinal. Knowing that this is typical behavior, when forced to use the public restroom, now suddenly one is faced with a lose/lose situation. In which case, I'd rather face my own impurities than those of dozens or hundreds of strangers.
sorry to sound so defensive. sometimes it's just scary in there.

Yes I am! OK so I see kiddies doing that all the time but adults ~ ew that's just gross!
Jimmy Carr cracks me up on this subject - he says that rather than having to wash his hands every time he uses the bathroom, he simply washes his winky (LOL!) first thing in the morning and he is good for the day! ha ha ha!

Why is everyone obsessed by human waste? Your kitchen work top or chopping board have more bacteria than a toilet seat. Maybe we over protect ourselves and reduce resistance.
Don't get me wrong - I do wash my hands - but I wanted to make the point that, as a society, we over emphasise cleanliness to the point of obsession.

I seem to have noticed that the women who do that are often very impeccably dressed, often dressed in a way that looks like they're professional women, and tend to have very polished haircuts and make-up.
I've noticed a lot of young looking, professional-appearing, women do that; but I've also seen a couple of forty-ish types (same type of polished outfits) do that.

I see it everywhere. Sometimes I, am forced to use my handy little portable sanitizer. 99% germ killers. My wife, thought it was a great idea. Now the kids carry them in there
tote bags.
Yea, I'm crazy. But there is too much crap out there.

Outta their heads and irresponsible.
- yes they are disgusting and I do not wish to go anywhere near anything they touch - hence I always try to leave the loo without touching the door handle and I would definitely refuse to touch anything this sort of person had handled.
