"If a man ignoring a woman's verbal 'no' is committing date rape, then a woman who says `no' with her verbal language but 'yes' with her body language is committing date fraud. And a woman who continues to be sexual even after she says 'no' is committing date lying...

"We have forgotten that before we began calling this date rape and date fraud, we called it exciting." -- Warren Farrell, in Myth of Male Power

Why is it that if the man you date/marry out educates and has more money than you, you're automatically considered a gold digger. If you out educate him and make more money, you're automatically perceived as a controlling b****. Has anybody else experienced this?

A few people who know me well tell me I should do research. I've thought yes, it suits my thorough personality best and but look how long it will take (another bachelors in science and then onto grad school in plant research or whatever)! I am in nursing. In my dream I was splicing and injecting a gene via bacteria vector into a plant. My dream was black and white.

Is this dream indicating that I am taking this idea seriously (at least more seriously than before)--as a real possibility?

People carry too much accumulated frustration and anger, this urges for an outlet? Or is it that these people are structured by lacks in early childhood experiences and also later and then choose ‘being bad’ as a way to get attention from others? They might have tried with being brave & good but it didn't work.
Established behavior is part of the personality, the individual is identified with it, so by being violent and destroying things and people, this gives the feeling of power and with this the feeling of existence. The more violent one feels more 'realized', not falling into a void. There has been and is so much violence in this world and there seems no change since history with it. Punishing people doesn’t help, either education. Religion and moral guidelines hasn't helped much or even caused the contrary? How can one deal with ones frustration and anger not reacting these out with violence? When too week to be violent, people are mean or damage others hiding behind a screen...

Have you ever got caught?

How often do you steal?

Why do you do it?

Just wondering!

I'm doing a supply analysis for the tourism and hospitality industry in country X using Porter's five forces. To me what the industry is supplying is leisure, so when it comes to spending money what are the substitutes for this? Investment and savings are the first things that come to my mind, any ideas?

Thanks

I read somewhere that if a guy touches his tie(which is meant to be the 'arrow to his penis') it means he's thinking about sex.
Well a guy I work with adjusted MY tie telling me to "do it up a bit".Does this mean anything?

Tell me if these symptoms would mean I am depressed:
-moping aroun
-no appetite (I havent eaten in like a day cus I haven't been hungry)
-pessimistic veiw on things
-a hollow feeling
-no real will to get up and do anything
-feels like I have too much on my plate (weight of the world on my shoulders, everything kind of seems like its pushing down on me)
-lonely (even though I have alot of friends)
-stopped caring about certain things (have a 'whatever' attitude)
-not excited about much

Recently i got in a childish stupid fight with a friend where i thought they were taking advantage of me and betraying our friendship and i am sure this must be contributing to these feelings. I cant stop thinking about this fight and how i want things to go back to how they were but thats easier said than done. Still, before this event I felt many of these feelings. Im usually a pretty upbeat person.

Am I suffereing from a form of depression?

Also what are some tips to help me up?

I'm a girl with this guy friend I like a lot. I know he likes me but its long distance as I moved away for your job. We even got together once (kisses, cuddles ) but it was a little bit casual so there has been no discussion of feelings yet. We keep in contact. I invited him to visit and he is coming on his next free days. Is there any way this friendship can develop into love? Here's something else, I know that we have a connection..isnt it true that a guy normally wouldnt keep in contact or visit a girl he 'got together with' if he didnt feel for her? I mean you cant reverse this.

him, right? So if you are mugged twice by one race, how do you avoid having a reaction when you see someone of the same race? Not exactly racism, because the body (or mind) reacts automatically. I live close to many and play a sport with some, but that doesn't prevent me from a fear reaction when I find myself on an elevator with someone of that race. You might say that, unconsciously, my inner mind has stereotyped that race, but how do you cure that condition of your mind? You can't just talk your subconscious into changing, when you react automatically.
