How much of life can you really understand by observing? You know just from seeing and hearing. Analyzing everything you get from your surrounding. Society and people? I'm only 21, I guess you can say that this is when I start my journey through life. I'm a very curious observer of what I see and hear. The good, the bad and UGLY. . . I feel there's a lot of UGLY. Too much. I'm an over thinker to the point of my head hurting (cynic as well)The more I listen and learn, the more I feel I know about myself and people. . .but then again how much do I know without actually living it let? Knowledge is power! but life does throw you a curve ball.

So how much can you know and understand about life from what you see and hear? And being young? I just wanna do the best I can.

"Learn from your mistakes, yes. But if you don't need to make any mistakes to learn. Don't make any. . ." -my personal quote.

Which is a real possibility if Republicans take as bad a beating at the Polls as the Beloved Leader Bush seems to be setting them up for.

Should we trust women again to get it ratified? Considering how dismally they failed before? Or should us guys take over the campaign and do it right this time?

They say that if you die in a dream, you will die in your sleep.
I had a dream where a robber came into my house and shot me, and my soul left my body, I looked down on my dead body with bullet wound and blood running out, then I looked up towards heaven and began to ascend, but then i woke up.

How does that work? My friends don't believe me that I had this dream. I had it three times, on three consecutive nights.

my husband works while I take care of the kid/s And I watch the budget and make financial and investment decisions for our family?

Does that mean that my husband is the head of the household or I am?

My Real question: does it have to be an either or thing?

Serious question, guys!!!

Ok, I had a really good friend kill himself a couple years ago, and I've been borderline suicidal for most of my life (not because of that). I know a lot of people think committing suicide is selfish, but looking from that person's point of view, do you really agree? I'd never actually commit suicide because I know how much it would hurt my friends, but do you think it's kind of selfish of that person's friends and family to make them continue living a life of suffering? And I'm not talking about someone who had one bad thing happen to them and decided the easiest way to deal with it would be suicide or someone who's only doing it for attention.

I'm honestly curious about what other people think about this, so I don't want any funny responses or people telling me not to kill myself. I'm not, so don't.

Thank you!

i was wondering...
is an undergrad/bachelor's diploma sufficient when looking for a job as a psychologist?
how much demand is there for it?
what kind of a salary can you expect as an average psychologist?
thanks :)

OK, this all started on Wednesday when someone said "are you gay?" at school (I'm 15). I said "no". But that made me think...and now that's all I think about from the minute I wake up to the moment I go to bed...it's awful! This is really hard for me, but I can find men nice to look at and stuff, and sometimes visualize them in my mind. But I have never had feelings for one. I also find women very attractive and hot, and visualize them too, and I have had feelings for a few too (and right now I am in love with this one celebrity). So I don't know what's going on...am I just curious or what? And like I said it's all I think about morning and night, I make myself sick over it.

Three silver mines near Goldenstate, are part of a national triopoly that consist of three main firms a, b and c.
P = 1000 – 1000x, the demand function,
p = price per ounce of gold
x = number of ounces of gold produced per day.
Marginal costs, although constant, vary at each firm.

Firm A is $100 per ounce
Firm B is $ 350 per ounce
Firm C is $ 400 per ounce

Determine the Cournot triopoly equilibrium, including

(i) The number of ounces of gold produced per day?
(ii) The price of gold?
(iii) The social surplus?
(iv) The M – Firm concentration ratio of this gold triopoly?
(v) The Herfindahl – Hirschman Index applicable

I have no idea how to do it. please help.

Over the last couple of years, I have seemingly run into a new (to me) trend. Many of the men I've met have expressed an interest in only marrying women who work. They have expressed a disinterest in being the person responsible not only for their children's upkeep, but their spouses, as well. However, to a man they also stated that they believe they should be the Head of their Household, and that men and women should fulfill traditional gender roles. The first man I heard this from, it didn't shock me because he is very religious and I knew where the thought process came from. The rest of the men were either anti-religious or non-Christian based religions such as pagan.
Is anyone else noticing this trend, or is it a geographic issue (I live in the buckle of the Bible belt, so I know that causes people to think a bit differently than in other regions)?

But when a friend or a teacher criticize me over the same issue, i tend to take it constructively. I don't feel annoyed.
