I'm doing a supply analysis for the tourism and hospitality industry in country X using Porter's five forces. To me what the industry is supplying is leisure, so when it comes to spending money what are the substitutes for this? Investment and savings are the first things that come to my mind, any ideas?

Thanks

Education and energy expenditures might be candidates. It seems to me that you might also want to consider a new definition of the good supplied by this industry, since "leisure" is so broad. For example, doesn't it seem that there are leisure activities that aren't supplied by the tourism and hospitality industry (e.g., movies, books, athletic events, etc)?
