im in school, in the gym just talking with a friend. this girl that i really liked last year (she graduated and we havent talked since) walks in front of me. i grab her hand and i say hi, she says hi back but she has a sad look on her face. i hear something say "dance with her". so i get up and she finally smiles, and we finally had our first slow-dance. but when she looked at me while we were dancing, I woke up..

do you think it means i still have feelings for her after all these months?

I just realized that talking about Christianity is a big no-no on the tube and there is a lot of trouble when someone speaks out about hell and the other stuff that the gospels talk about.

Why do you think this situations happen?

Ok last night i had a nightmare!!
I was at a house with some of my relatives. One of them had cooked a soup. Someone gave me a big bowl full of soup and I started eating it. It was clothes soup. There were pieces of white and red clothes and I was eating those! i could almost taste the flavor of those clothes... so dry like cotton and so dry that it would hurt my teeth..(and as Im writing this my mouth is watering?? wtf??) after finishing the whole soup i started feeling sick very sick.. and i felt like throwing up but i couldnt. My body was trying to throw up but the clothes were stuck in my stomach. I used my fingers, pencils..anything to make myself vomit but i couldnt. Someone told me that i could die of nternal bleeding because my stomach would be lacerated by the pieces of cloth. I went to the hospital and an x-ray showed my bloated intestines! they had to clean my whole intetsines and body.. it was weird. Now i've been burping clothes all day?? like a weird taste.. whats wrong?

I firmly believe that marriage rights for gays center around a few minor details.

1. Medical/legal rights as next of kin. Both of which can be obtained in every state in the Union.

2. The largest single tax break that can be achieved without itemizing your deductions.

3. The small percentage that want homosexuality embraced by the general public. (i.e. that homosexuality is not wrong no matter what anyone thinks.)

The big issue for me is another dictating what is right and morale for me to accept and teach my children.

What if good students went to College for free?

Imagine if a college like Rutgers University offered a merit based refunds to it students that got good grades. If you earn a 4.0 g.p.a, you get a 100% refund on your tuition. Something like:

Refund%=100*[G.P.A.]-300
(i.e. a >3.0 g.p.a. gets you a 0% refund)

What kind of impact would this have on:
-The College
-The Student
-The Public &
-The World

I proposed this question in one of my classes, I'm a Economics & Sociology major so I have my own ideas, but interested in new/different/creative ones.

I caught an episode of Oprah of the other day. They were talking about the other women. They had a few women come on talking about their experinces as that. Most of them were remorseful. One women had wrote a letter to her husbands mistress. She had never met, never seen. She explained in her letter how she didn't undestand how another women can do that to another women. Knowing he was married with children. Help distroy and family. Some kind of unspoken female bond was broken I guess?

Pretty passionate letter. She made it sound like as a women she know better. With kids involved and all that. She should have known better. Her husband she knew was wrong from the get-go! Not much else she could say to him.

Is this something other women share? Is there a harder disappoitment when an other women hurts you like that? A stranger?

The unskilled-poor will have more competition for their unskilled labour, driving wages down, while the owners or highly skilled will be able to take advantage of the general growth of the economy and being able to take advantage of more people...?

okay. when i was younger, i went to a therapist because i had trouble with being picked on. i was very emotional, and anyone could tease me and i would cry. in fact, my main "bully" (we're friends) wsas 3 years younger than i. now, i hide all of my emotions. i dont remember what i did with the therapist, but how did he make me go the complete oppisite? is it that noone picks on me anymore, or did he really do something?

Ive recently noticed something about myself, I constantly NEED someone to talk to.Otherwise I start talking to myself.I dont answer myself like, "Hi how you doing today"? " Oh I,m fine and you"?Nothing like that, I just think Out loud I like to call it, for instance when I.m watching T.V. I'll say "dam that show is stupid".Or Ill remark out loud about one of the characters. I used to think nothing of it ,but find myself doing it more and more often. Right before any big event.. my own birthday, christmas, sometimes regular days but its mostly before some big event im really happy and excited about.- They always have to ruin my day purposely. They see how happy I am and then proceed to start a huge fight about something that has no relevance even sometimes. Why do they do this always when they see im at my happiest?

I liked my coworker, and he could tell that I do. He's not married, but I don't know if he has a girlfriend or a lives with her, if he does. I play it down that I like him, and my interest in him is slowly lessening each day

This guy talks about taking trips and talks about going places alone -- all things that he can see tug a little at my heart (I'm sensitive, but not a total fool). He says things to me as if he's on the verge of asking me to do stuff with him (whether lunch or going somewhere, like a day trip or an event close to where we live or work, etc), but then he never does actually ask me to do anything. It's like he wants to see my reaction and then keep me on a string. It's odd, and I can't explain it

What's going on here? It seems very likely as if he's playing me and toying with me. How do I handle it, and possibly stop it? And, can anyone give me a clue as to what this guy thinks of me -- on any level based on this info? Thanks
