My stomach is in pain because I suffer from anxiety and worries.

Sometimes it's a good idea to go get some exercise. When I get really anxious, I go walking or jogging (in the fresh air is best, but anything helps) and then I have a long, hot, relaxing shower or bath. After the fresh air, the exercise, and then the earned relaxation, I always feel like I have a fresh perspective on things.

Sometimes at night, when I can't sleep because of worry, I do something silly that I call a "third eye massage". With the lights off and my eyes shut, I slowly rub in the small circle the area of my forehead right between and slightly above the space between my eyebrows. I call it a third eye massage because that's apparently where your "third eye is". Anyways, I can't explain why it works (perhaps there's another question!) but I find that doing it blocks in inflow of new and worrying thoughts and panic attacks, and allows me to fall asleep peacefully.

One more thing - when I get INSANELY stressed I sometimes get stomach ulcers - this actually happens to a lot of people. You could try the exercise and relaxation, but also check in with your doctor :)

i know what your talking about. its not an ulcer. i get the same feeling when nervous or the like. i just try and put the worry out of my head the best i can. or try and look at the situation in the nest light possible. try and be positive.
find things to do to get your mind off the worry. just sitting around doin nothing will let your mind grab hold of the worry and gnaw it to pieces. read a book, watch a movie, ride your bike, anything...
hope that helps.
also, if the feeling is prolonged it could turn into an ulcer. sorry- didnt mean to discredit that point.

I would talk to my physician about anti-anxiety medication or seek counseling to address the worry.
