evp means Eletronic Voice Phenomena i have heard people have contacted the dead through this?

It is not possible to contact the dead in any way shape or form. evp is just noise. It could be noice pick up in the room by the people recording it or noise picked up through the pipes or from outside. Also, it could be just electric noice that is electromanetic noise or just the crappy quality of the device. I remember a discovery channel special where they took a recording. They play the recording once. Then they said did you hear that? it said, kill me. or something along those lines. SO they replayed the tape again so that you would hear it and it did say kill me. But then the guy said, no its just a trick the tape is saying trixxie or text me or something similar. SO then they played the tape again. Funny it did say trixie or text me the second time around.
The way it works is that your mind tryies to make order and sense out of things. This is the reason people see faces in images. Your mind tries to look for the familiar so they will see faces where there are not and hear words where there aren't any. You can try this for yourself very easily. look at clouds. Have two friends with you. Have them both cover their ears and eyes. Look at a cloud and them what you see. The person will agree. Now tell the the other friend something different and he will also agree with you. You could also make a recording of a vaguely or barely audible sound. Tell friend number 1 what you think it is and he will agree. Then tell friend number 2 what you heard and number two will also agree. No ghost, no supernatural power no nothings. Sorry, try again but it is just not true.

I don't think so. Signals sent off into the galaxies are not expected to return to earth until we are dead, so I have a feeling we will be talking face to face with any dead relative before our signal returned over a phone or radio.
