to make a long story short..my boyfriend was abused as a child, his dad use to beat him badly. he lived in foster homes. when we were together couple years ago, he was so upset because he couldnt find weed, he was taking it out on me and was being really rude. when i had enough i walked away from him (this was at school) couple seconds later i hear him banging on lockers throwing the garbage bins around, he kicked his shoes off and ran towards me and threw me against the locker just yelling at me i dont remember what he said cuz it was so long ago. i broke up with him after that. he seems to be needy, always needing a gf, why?

and im wondering if hes like this b/c of what happened in his past? what are some effects it has on u later in life?

and if I do I can not remember them.
My family says I constantly scream and yell in my sleep.
Like every night, no one really knows what I am saying but I guess I am yelling out alot of obscene things. I recently had a nightmare that involved killing and death but this is it. This has been going on for over a year now. Please serious advice.

Hi i never realised that dreams have meaning as much as they do until now. I read another question that someone has answers about there teeth falling out, I thought it was just me but I guess not, but I also have another dream that I keep dreaming.
Its sort of like the end of the world, like meteores and comets hitting the earth, and things in the sky etc. The there is always me on my own and without any family members around me, for ashort time but I am in touch with them somehow, we are trying to get to safey and then we all split up again. but its like in the background I can see family members. Then Ill be take somewhere else and then I will be either getting bombed or a big meteore in the sky is crashing down. Then I wake up.

I know it sounds stupid, but its like the dream is armaggedon or somthing and it keeps happening, I always get a little further into the dream each time anyone any idea. Thanks

ok, i'll just say my older sisters name is x. ok, so x is popular, smart, and pretty. she has lots of good friends and she encouraged me to do well in school. she tells me the things i can work on and she makes things possible for me. she is basically my hero cause when i'm next to her i feel so strong and happy. every1 tells me how lucky i am. she knows so much ppl. i guess i wanna be like her. but i hate being called x's sister. 4 people including myself have dreamed that I was pregnant.

1st- my boyfriend had a dream not long after we started dating that I was pregnant. He said the dream seemed to real when he woke up he really thought I was pregnant.

2nd- my dad said that he has had several dreams that I was pregnant.

3rd- I dreamed that I was pregnant but the baby died

4th- my brother dreamed that I turned into a rocker chick and got pregnant and moved in with my boyfriend. This is funny because my boyfriend and I just started talking about moving in together last week.

So what do all of these dreams mean?? My boyfriend and I aren't really trying to have a baby. We wouldn't be upset if we did (we're both old enough and well off enough) but we're not trying. Someone help me figure this out!!!

Growing up as a young man in the western world can be a painful process. Boys and young men are constantly bombarded with messages about how they're idiots, inadequate, or just broken females who need to be drugged into submission. From birth all the way to grave, we are taught that we are oppressors, rapists, pigs. It's no wonder the suicide rate for men is so much higher than for women.

What advice would you personally offer to young men trying to find their way? Relationship advice, how to deal with popular culture, anything. At what age did you personally "wake up" and see the truth for what it was? Did you have a mentor or another catalyst, or did you figure it out on your own?

Last night I had this strange dream...

I was at school and I was in auto class, and I was working on some motorcycle. The motorcycle is one of those battery-operated ones that you get in toys-r-us for a kid...but it was kinda real...anyway, I walk out and go socialize, and this guy who graduated 2 yrs ago comes up to me and starts slow dancing with me. Naturally I'm confuzed so I walk away....

Then, my ALL TIME favorite singer, Chris Brown, starts dancing with me. I'm THRILLED as we start a crowd gathering around us, dancing like maniacs...then outta nowhere he kisses me and I just fall into his arms.
I look up around me, and this guy who I've been talking 2 for a while now is there, staring at me and he's upset (I know he likes me...)
Then I feel bad and let go of CB and into HIS arms....then we're about to kiss. I wake up...

I am 16 and scared of sex.I've never been sexually abused or anything so I don't know why?
The thought of sex makes me sick,I have OCD and the thought of anyone touching me like that makes me think I'm dirty.
I also don't want children but condoms freak me out to!
What should I do?

Ok...everyone who answered my reoccuring dream question last time did wonderful. However, there is a 2nd dream that I've had....not for as long...but still very disturbing.

Just little heads up...it always takes place when I am 10 years old...no matter how old I am..in the dream I'm 10.

We are playing on the front porch of our house (G.I.Joe's). Just doing our thing...having fun. Well, a neighbor kid, named Mark...comes over and talks to us for a bit...but then he starts trying to fight with us. We get into it a little bit...and then my mom and adopted dad hear the arguing and come out to stop it. They instead of taking my side...take his side..and my brother takes his side after being on my side the whole time leading up to my parents coming out. They all make me feel like I'm the world's worst person. So, I run through the house....crying. I run outside into the backyard...and once I get under the tree...I get struck by lightning, and die.

I guess I'm a pretty girl, but I'm so self-conscious that I never want to look anyone in the eye, especially good-looking people. one dream i had i was on a plane , and the plane was flying really low just above the houses , then i awoke from the dream it alarmed me ,the next day i dreamt i was airside waiting for relatives to arrive off a flight , the plane landed and toppled over ,, i rushed to the plane , i awoke and once again i didn't finish the dream. i often dream about being on a train , leaving from somewhere without my possessions ,but feeling really sad and empty , what can they mean , i have dream books , but they don't explain much about them , can anyone interpret my dreams thanx in advance
