4 people including myself have dreamed that I was pregnant.

1st- my boyfriend had a dream not long after we started dating that I was pregnant. He said the dream seemed to real when he woke up he really thought I was pregnant.

2nd- my dad said that he has had several dreams that I was pregnant.

3rd- I dreamed that I was pregnant but the baby died

4th- my brother dreamed that I turned into a rocker chick and got pregnant and moved in with my boyfriend. This is funny because my boyfriend and I just started talking about moving in together last week.

So what do all of these dreams mean?? My boyfriend and I aren't really trying to have a baby. We wouldn't be upset if we did (we're both old enough and well off enough) but we're not trying. Someone help me figure this out!!!

Well, it could be a number of things. It could be that you and your boy friend are acting in such a way as to cause your family to be concerned that you might become pregnant, and might not be ready for such a thing, or it could be that everyone around you recognizes that you have potential within you to "give birth" to great things in this world, to start an import project, or idea or something. If you dreamed you were pregnant, but the baby died, that is not necessarily about an actual baby, it could be about a project begun that didn't make it off the ground for whatever reason, like maybe you had an idea and others told you it wouldn't work, and you gave it up in the face of resistance (only an example of things that could cause this sort of imagery...)

The pregnancy could stand for a present or upcoming big change in your life. You may be about to "birth" something big--a new you? a career breakthrough? an emotional breakthrough? marriage?--and the pregnancy stands for this big change.

It's also possible that the dreams show that you are afraid of pregnancy or motherhood, or that you are afraid of the big change that is coming, even if the change is good.

I find it significant that so many people in your life has had this dream about you. I'm sure they are all perceiving the same thing within you.

Then again, maybe God is trying to tell you something, and the dreams are prophetic. Maybe you will have a baby in a year or two, or maybe you're being warned to make sure that the contraceptives work! :D

I, too, have twice dreamed in my life that I gave birth and the baby either died or got very sick or was missing. I have never been pregnant.

Dreams usually aren't to be taken literally. It is more likely that it means you are giving life to an idea or concept...or that you are changing in some significant way. Dreams are definitely significant and mean something.
