Women demanding that the toilet seat be put down for their convenience is no different to men demanding that the toilet seat be left up.

It never occurred to men to complain about something that was completely and obviously within their capability to correct. However, it did occur to women.

Because of this, women demanding that the toilet seat be left up can mean either one of two things:

1) They are not competent enough to even put a toilet seat down before they sit on it.

2) They have a deep seated and highly likely inherent hypocrisy.

Which is it? If the latter does this hypocrisy permeate the entire feminist movement with demands of the toilet seat being left down merely a noticeable and well documented tip of the iceberg?

I'm just curious to see what other people think. In terms of the biggest contributions to the world we live in, which civilization do you think made the largest impact and why?

Rome
Greece
Persia
Egypt
The Celts
China
The Maya
Native Americans

If you feel that I have left some out feel free to make an addition.

I'm not judging. Fear is normal.

I can understand because while I know it's my role to be at home. I'm worried about being so busy with the child all the time or about not having enough adult interaction or how's all the money going to pan out... Yes, I worry about these things but I won't let it stop me.

Do you think that's why a lot of women choose not to stay at home?

Fear of lonliness?
Fear of financial instablility?
Fear of not having indepence?
Fear of not being able to handle it?
Fear of not be felt as if they are worth anything?
Fear of husband leaving?

If it is fear, why not embrace it and move forward with a plan?

Coffee
Electronic car
Candy
Pizza
T-shirt

Ask yourself how much more of your items you would be willing to buy if the price decreased by 1%. If the answer is more than 1%, your demand is elastic; if the answer is less than 1%, your demand is inelastic.

If anyone knows how to explain their answers please do. Thanks.

I will choose 3 articles and argue which of the theoretical perspectives (functionalism, conflict theory, interactionism) best describes the tone, intent, or view of the article. I'm having a tough time looking for these types of articles in the newspaper. Can anyone help me figure out what topics from the newspaper will be good for the theoretical perspectives.

You like a person. You want to be with him. But when you remain with him tete-a-tete, you start bahaving in a strange way. It's difficult to find what to talk about, cause you have a sensation that you know everything about him. There is nerviousness and incredible tension. After meeting you always feel tired. From nowhere comes offence and discontent. You want to run away from him as soon as possible. But as soon as you separate you want back to be near him...

this past weekend me and my girlfriend went on a vacation and it was also the first time that we had stayed in the same bed together. Every night we were on vacation i had dreams that i was hurting her in some way like on of them was i had gotten into a verbal fight with her and i puched her out and afterward i felt extremely bad including after i had woken up i had felt really bad for a while. the next night i had dreamed that we were in the same bed and we got into a fight and she started sleeping on the floor, well i was going to get a glass of water and she started kicking me from the floor and i had grabbed her leg and slammed it on the ground hurting her. after i had woken up i had felt really really bad. I have never done anything like this in real life and will never do anything like it which is so confusing, and we also never have fights in real life only in my dreams. Does anyone know what this means?

What are signs we can look at to see if the value of the dollar will rise or fall?

I'm no economist, so I'd appreciate a little help in understanding what indicators there are to look at to see why/how the value of dollar has changed, relative to other currencies.

After all, the more the dollar slides, the more it hurts us consumers and us tourists.

thanks!!!!

4 people including myself have dreamed that I was pregnant.

1st- my boyfriend had a dream not long after we started dating that I was pregnant. He said the dream seemed to real when he woke up he really thought I was pregnant.

2nd- my dad said that he has had several dreams that I was pregnant.

3rd- I dreamed that I was pregnant but the baby died

4th- my brother dreamed that I turned into a rocker chick and got pregnant and moved in with my boyfriend. This is funny because my boyfriend and I just started talking about moving in together last week.

So what do all of these dreams mean?? My boyfriend and I aren't really trying to have a baby. We wouldn't be upset if we did (we're both old enough and well off enough) but we're not trying. Someone help me figure this out!!!
