The way that works right now.

We swing in moods and purposes. They sometimes are steady, but sometimes ebb and flow. How do you remember stuff? Does any one mnemonic technique work for everything, or do somethings work better one way, and other things another? Chances are good that you remember something by emotional tie, other things by logical device (pegs, association, etc.), and still more by rote (habit).

Motivation is like that. Some things need to be forced, some enticed, some are simply stumbled onto. Managers learn lists of techniques and try those things they are able and willing to, often ignoring those that they don't wish to use. Different people are different, and people are different at different times. There sometimes is a synergism of multiple methods, while at times some combinations of methods are counter productive, they don't work well together.

What would motivate me to arrange time to visit my in-laws in my first marriage was a far sterner thing than what motivates me to take my second wife to visit her parents. A beautiful and fragrant plate of vegetables can motivate me at a glance, while my mother's washed out, limp as cooked spinach cauliflower and mushy tomatoes took some severe hunger or threats to get me to touch them. My father's threats and punishment did not go near as far to help my grades in school as my own curiousity or a rivalry, a sort of gamesmanship, with others at school.

We may not find it helpful to 'pick and choose' which rules and laws we want to obey at the moment, but sometimes we can be choosey over the method of motivation. If one method seems to be failing at effectiveness, choose another one, until it works.

These emotions are natural. When you're down and also you lose motivation recollect that every day is modern. You by myself get to decide upon what to do with every day. Be blue. Be proactive and get out and do whatever. If not anything is operating...step out in a brand new course for the brand new day. Go through your cloth cabinet and throw out all un vital stuff and stuff that's too historical or tired. I spend a few of my great time cleansing up each subject that demands a brand new appear with out spending any cash. Take a well lengthy appear at wherein you're and wherein you could have been and such a lot importantly attempt to believe of each well factor to your existence. This is transitority. Maybe a brand new process profession? (an additional course) What do you do great, what could you find irresistible to do?? Take well care of your self and do not over indulge that allows you to make you torpid and not able to rise up and believe obviously and get going. You are a TC on YA and undoubtedly love puppies..perhaps whatever to do with puppies could quite make your blissful in paintings. My Grandmother could say, "No time for funky temper rise up and get going, you'll be able to do it." Add: After watching in any respect of Josie's % and many others. (greater than any person else on YA. If you probably did the portrait of her, you're an artist. You can write, draw and feature plenty of pursuits. Get going. Josie's relying on you. Just appear at her eyes and she's going to encourage you!

Best way to motivate myself is to think of what I am working towards, remain focused, and know that I will achieve/obtain said goal.

Just visualize it done, or visualize yourself doing whatever it is you want to accomplish. "Have a vision". There are also the "rewards" strategy, at the end of every accomplishment reward yourself. I prefer the latter, both work, I reward myself a lot!!!

I set a goal and when I achieve that goal then I reward myself. For me I have to see it in writing, I write it down and that seems to help.
