More and more people are relying on section housing and welfare to make ends meet, and it is only getting worse.

Do we need to reform our welfare system to drive certain taxes and costs down, or is it too late because the jobs available do not pay enough anyways.

I've been different all my life. The quiet kid in school, that always did his work, and did it well, got top grades, had few friends-- none to confide in but himself...

Toward the end of secondary school, I started truanting because of moderate to extreme bullying. Missed alot.

Moved home, out of the city to a rural area, I never really fit in even though I kept thinking I would, that it would be a change. The skipping continued. I left school with not the best grades.

I went to college and dropped out due to too much time off. I do not smoke, drink, do drugs or anything. No friends to go on anti social runs with. I am a good person.

Up to now- everything in my academic life has been a waste. I have nothing to show for it.

And yet... I feel as if it doesn't matter, I feel as if something is going to happen soon... I am going to ascend to the next level, and finally make my way through life, the way I want too...

This is my new begining.

So im 16. I found my dad dead when i was 12. it was totally unexpected that he died. but anyways i have dreams about him sometimes, and one time he was yelling at me, because i told him that he died, one time i was serving him juice, lol and the other night i dont remember much, but i felt bad for the rest of the day, why do i always have bad dreams w/ him, why cant i have a good dream? i always get really upset a for a few days after i have this dreams... what the heck is going on? someone please tell me

so i get back together with my ex since "he missed me so much" and after we broke up i was told he was just using me for sex (3 days into it..... yeah i can admit i missed him 2) and was saying all this ****, but then i know this one guy who told me

"all guys will say whatever you want to hear just to get in a girl's pants without caring one bit. that's ALL they want" following a few stories (*shudder*) and all that great stuff... and he's been married for how long, but then again he also told me that "guys actually grow up at.... 38 maybe if he's lucky" and so WHAT'S THE DEAL GUYS!!!! DO YOU REALLY ALL DO THIS IT'S BEEN KILLING ME!!!!!!!!

oh yeah, and we broke up to be "friends w/ benifits" but we aren't talking cuz he got a new girlfriend (who i hear is uggo) and he doesnt cheat on his girlfriends so he doesn't have a reason to talk to me now i guess.....

and i miss him

I am a gay 45 year old man and 5 months ago I met and became good friends with a 35 year old gay man.
A month ago I realized I had fallen head over heels in love. It's an intense non-sexual crush and for the last month I have thought of him 24/7 and have regularly burst into tears. I wait for the phone to ring etc etc
He is committed elsehwere and we can't get together and I told him friendship won't work under these circumstances and I severed contact with him and then I sent him a text saying I was going crazy and needed to see him.
This feels like a very, very strong teenage crush but I am, technically middle aged.
We are both very young for our ages - if you understand. Not typical.

a/ Is it normal for people of ALL ages to develop very strong crushes? I have been single for 15 years and until now quite happy about it. I feel like I am in love.

b/ How do I get past this and regain my sanity?

prolonged time? or just basically lived alone and endured along time of loneliness....how did you cope?

just a little few words i thought of to try and describe the feeling...i no its crap.....but how did you get throught that deathly, cold and empty feeling of feeling abandoned and lonely?

"so and so has to live on only $10 per month" ( in some unbelievably poor 3rd world country )
obviously that is impossible in usa.
so how exactly does $10 in a poor country translate into how much buying power it has??

isnt food and gas etc all relative to supply and demand, even when its in a really poor area? so therefore $10 could theroetically pay rent, buy food, toys etc..

could sum1 give simple explanation how this works?
Also, why does the news say stuff like this if it doesnt really make sense??

my stepbrother died last October when his truck got ran off of the road... Long story short I have been sort of fighting with his mom my stepmom about some struggles I have been having recently and I am calling my dad to get a hold of him however she is getting all of the calls cuz my dad is out all the time doing whatever with golf or work. Well this afternoon I was taking a nap cuz I am home from work from an injury. My stepbrother I think came to me in my dream he was literally talking to me and I to him.. Can dead people come to you in a dream like this. He was telling me stuff like I should go to college and fly right get my act together and move on. It is definitely true what he said I do need to do this.. But why would he come to me in a dream and tell me this? Did my stepmom pray for him to do this? That would be crazy oh well what do you guys think of this?

With all the taxes the streets should be paved with gold. In other countries, even Cuba, you can buy the medicines that even I need for a nickle. It costs $40 in USA but a dime or nickle in Cuba. President Bush, Please explain this to me! I could buy enough meds for6 years for the cost of what I pay in USA. Why do US citizens have to pay so much? And NO! There are not long waiting lines .

against feminism and equality. They even went as far with comparing people who criticize female sex supremacists to people who opposed the blacks rights movement. Do you think this comparison is accurate ? Why ? Why not ?
