Yes. Just wait until you are a senior citizen.
But, look at it this way: for a 2-year old, 1 day is 1 out of (365 X 2) or 1/730. Still a small fraction. But, when you are 65, 1 day is 1 out of (365.25 X 65) or 1/23742. That's how I figured it...the older you become, the smaller ONE DAY is to the TOTAL number of days you have lived.
Also, you know that old saying, "Been there, done that"? For a young person, everything is new and you would look at things with wonder. When you are old, you have seen so much that things now longer amaze or amuse you.

Yes, but with you it would appear you are having a good time.
The real sense of time passing faster takes place once you are over 40 years old. And this is applicable to all. Religion has nothing to do with it.
The reason why is that now once you are over 40 you start counting backwards as in how many years left. With every birthday you see the deadline closer. Your objective is to live longer that the national average for your gender. Of course, this is what I have been told. LOL

nicely it needless to say would not easily pass swifter, what occurs is you have much less time for your self - I spend 34 hours a week working, 6 hours finding after my gran, a super style of the the remainder of my time with my infant son, or i'm doing chores, engaged on college assignments, doing the procuring, cooking etc. etc. So the place you used to have possibly a week off (as an occasion at 0.5-term) and you may do in spite of you had to do, it purely would not happen now. Meh!

It is true that we percieve time passing faster as we age.
My theory is that the seeming "apparent" length of a period of time is judged by us in proportion to our total live life span. Thus a 5-yr old thinks that waiting 6 months until Christmas is FOREVER - and to her is is actually 10% of her lifetime - which is a pretty significant length of time. But to a 50-yr old waiting 6 months is only 1% of his life - hence it seems like a shorter time.
Same thing is true for days or hours.
Just a theory, but it fits my experience.

No it is not true. It just seem that way because we are always so busy, and in such a hurry. Doing many things in one day.
The older you get the more it seems time is flying by.

You're not out of your mind, girl...just yesterday it seemed like I was 18. Today I'm in my thirties and wondering where the time went.

when busy time is fast.
when bored nothing to do time is slow.
but time moves on as per normal neither fast nor slow. it has its own momentum. its us that gets into or out of that rhythm. when u age or retire time will slow slow slow down. and it can be frightening
