let me tell you this look at Paris Hilton.. Need I say anymore? She doesn't even know what Walmart is? How can you not know this? In the Bible it says it is easier for a needle to pass through the eye of a camel than it is for a rich person to get into the gates of Heaven. So that being said I would think about what you do with your money. If you are just hogging all of your money and not using it for good and being selfish with it then yeah people are gonna be mean. If you are whining cuz Daddy didn't buy you the blue car instead of the red car and saying "DADDY I WANTED THE BLUE CAR!!!" Yeah that is one stuck up little girl. If rich kids only saw what middle class people went through even lower middle class people like me go through then they wouldn't be crying about petty little things. My first car was an 87 ford escort rustbucket. I know rich kids that get brand new cars for their first car. Am I jealous? No but I don't think its right for a parent to spoil there kid like that just cuz they got the money. It doesn't teach them a lesson.. and what happens when mommy and daddy kick the kid out on their own to learn life on their own what have they learned by being spoiled all of their life?

well...not ALL rich kids, but all that i have met are total snobs. I dont agree that they should have to share and crap, because thats just stupid, but they don't really need to go around shoving it in everyone elses face. Im being a bit of a hipocrit lol because I recently got a VERY significant financial boost and the first thing I plan to buy is a ridiculously, very obviously expensive purse and shoes and clothes... but that is only because Ive never had a lot of money before. But I really don't have anything against them, unless they try to make you feel like crap for not having what they have. I have a friend that is not rich, but has a lot more money than me and can afford all the expensive brand name stuff...but I kind of want to have something better than her for once...childish, isnt it?

Well, some, if not most, are secretly jealous of the rich kid. Though it is not fair for us to stereotype them. But the media portrays them as 'spoiled' i.e. mtv's "Sweet 16".
Then there is the other reason, that many 'rich kids' complain and don't realize how fortunate they are.
Hard to sympathize with a 'rich kid' when they are complaining about, not getting exactly what they want.

Re-think you definition of rich. Once you realize there are people with more money than you, you will realize that people don't treat these richer than you people any differently.
Why do you think they pick on you? Do you wish the reason the picked on you was because you're supposedly rich?
Honestly, I've never seen a rich kid really think he was a rich kid.

There are mean people everywhere. There are mean rich kids. There are vice verse. See the truth of the matter is----- it is part of original sin.
The nature of man is mean and sinful without Jesus. All people need to accept Jesus as their personal Savior if you want them to be nice and kind.
If Jesus were in their hearts they would not be mean--- Rich or poor is not the issue.
The issue is the condition of the heart!

many times Rich kids tend to show off or be a total snob, thinking they are better just becuase they have the $$$, they may not be as thankful for the stuff they have as normal class kids....i dont like rich people myself!!!!!

Because those people are not rich & they tend to show-off to other people by bullying at rich kids so that they feel... well... popular! Here in the Philippines rich kids are always popular & I always see them get "beaten up" by people who aren't rich. Ya, it's mean!!!

I would imagine that people are mean to "rich" kids because of jealousy. Okay, so what is the reason for people to be mean to "poor" kids, they have nothing to be jealous of (never end a sentence with a preposition). See, you just can't please everyone. God Bless.

it's because of the stero-typing. most rich kids think they are better than everyone else, and treat the middle-class people like trash. Most kids are so used to knowing how the rich treat people, that even if youre nice, Theythink of you in that way.

Um.....all the rich kids I knew were either snobs that acted like they were better then everyone on Gods green earth or where just so bratty and shallow that it was annoying to listen to.
