i know it sounds mean,
but i feel like its something that needs to be done.
my bestfriend mikey got into a "gang" sort of thing.
i dont suporrt what theyre doing at all.
but i really like him.
he is like in love with me and he cant see why im so upset.
now he is really depressed because i wont talk to him.
i really want to be goodgood friends with him again,
but not while he is in this "gang" thing.
i want to be happy. and i want him to be happy.
isnt the best solution for him to go back to how he used to be?
how do i ask him to do that?
i dont want to be mean or sound selfish,
but that sounds like the best plan..

Men have said the usual things to me over the years (you have lovely eyes/ hair/ legs/ feet etc) but the one thing that stood out above all the others was something my friend Roger said to me. He said I was like the daughter he never had & if I had been his daughter, he would have been really proud of me. Wow, that really touched me to the core of my being. I had a lousy father so these words were like music to my ears. And I knew he meant it so sincerely.

Has someone touched you with something they said?

“Every time you add a child, you’re diluting the intellectual environment of everyone in the family."

That statement was made by an expert regarding the IQs of older and younger siblings in families. If he is right, only stupid people have lots of children and everyone in the family gets exponentially dumber with each additional child.

What do you think about this?

I am a music teacher and went to see my new colleague at the school I will be leading music at next year, she seemed to be impossible already on the phone 2 days ago, when I met her today my fears were justified, she speaks non-stop and never gives me a chance to get a word in edgeways, when i try to ask her to concentrate on one thing she just keeps on talking, it took me 2 hours to get the information I was trying to get from her, that would have taken no longer than 30 minutes with a normal human being, I realize this is a horrible thing to say but I feel I am going to be so tired with her next year, what am I going to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????

Last night I dreamt that I was walking somewhere in the city. It was maybe spring time in my dream because the sun was shining and the and the sky was clear blue. The temperature felt fine. I began walking up this street ( it was kind of up a hill) on the right hand on the street on the sidewalk. there were little shops along the stree that everyone was shopping or dining at. and I can't remember if i was walking with someone or not but I do remember there were many people in the street. THe people started screaming and panicking... i looked around for what was scaring them and i saw thousands of UFO's in the sky. They were purple UFO's. When I saw them, I kind of felt relieved in some sorty of way..I didn't understand why all the other people were scared. ..... can anyone interpret this for me?

Sounds a bit far fetched but is there any other better way of destroying those gender gaps and acrimonies and prejudices?

Do you agree that we nowdays in this day and age hardly acknowledge the importance of the opposite sex??

Why is it so hard or we are so unwilling to express our natural feelings for the opposite sex?

I have had several dreams lately that involve bugs and spiders. In one of my dreams, I was in bed, woke up and couldn't get out of bed because my floor was covered with various crawly bugs. Anther dream, I opened a closet and thousands of bugs came crawling out and chasing me. One of the bugs (it was big) jumped on my back and I could literally feel him clinging to my back...sort of like velcro. I was screaming and couldn't think of a way to get it off me. It was terrible!! Other dreams I have had are similar.....bugs everywhere that keep me from going somewhere.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that I am terrified of bugs....I know things like this in dreams usually signify something else. What could it be?

If there are any psychologists or psychiatrists out there, what do you think of the contention that DID or MPD is really just a manifestation of borderline personality disorder, anxiety, etc., and doesn't actually exist as a disorder in its own right?

I've recently read some pretty convincing debunkings of past accouts of DID that were relied upon to establish the existence of this disorder. As a result I no longer believe it exists. I don't mean to suggest that people don't suffer from some of the symptoms associated with it, but just that as a discrete diagnosis it isn't valid.

I feel the same way about some currently fashionable physical "disorders," too, but it's mostly based on my own reading and thinking and I'd like some professional viewpoints if possible.

Thanks for your time!

I live in an apartment with 3 bedrooms. One bedroom is for my mom, the other is for my brother and the other room is mine. Now, every night. EVER NIGHT. I always have the scariest weirdest dream! I told my brother to sleep in that room and then in the morning he said that he didn't have any bad dreams. My mother then went to sleep in my room, and she had the most horrifying nightmare. So this led me to thinking that only females get bad dreams in that room. My aunt and her baby daughter Eleena came to visit. Eleena was sleepy, so my aunt put her on my room. I was having some fun talking to my family and all that. But then I went to my room, I screamed when I saw baby Eleena shaking as if she was freezing, and tears streamed down from her face. The poor baby was red all over. My aunt came in and quickly took her out of my room. So now, every single night I keep having nightmares. Horrible nightmares. Is my room haunted?
