I think it's because they see something in the person they wish they had. Sense of humor, self confidence, personality, etc. Their trying to make up for something they feel they lack. Some people attract the same kind of person by their behavior without even realizing it. They need to analyze the situation and make adjustments in their lives accordingly. If you feel good about your self and know what you want it will come through and you will start attracting the people that are right for you.

I don't know if anyone is a fool. I think some people cannot escape from their history and tend to repeat it. Old habits are hard to break and familiar aspects of people attract over and over. People cannot seem to discriminate what those characteristics are. I am sure you know what I mean. It is often said by the people who have knwn them that serial killers were such charming people, that is how they attracted their victims. I am sure that similar forces are at work for people who repeat fatal relationships. I hope it doesn't happen to you, because we are all make alike than different.

Maybe fools have chemistry that is only attracted to the same thing over and over and over and over.
Chemistry such as is found in the brain.

Hard-wired to do so. Takes a lot of awareness and self-restraint to stop something so automatic, in its tracks. And u can imagine, when it's a feeling like love, it's an extremely strong overpowering emotion, that's very hard to control.

I've never had much luck choosing a male partners.
IT seems they have all turned out the same, unfaithful, liars.
Buy why I have ended up with them, I don't know.

well half of the answer is in the beging of the question fools but people tend to look for things in people that they are comfortable with,

because there are certain characteristics that attract him... like for the 'bad boys' they like having someone who is really strong and wild and can protect them... but they can also have bad qualities, like anger problems, or something else. and like for guys, a lot like girls that will go far with them in a short amount of time, but they also have their issues. like going for ANY guy and probably cheating.
