Feedback also applies to electronics very much. It means the output of a circuit is fed back into the input to control it.There is positive feedback and negative or out-of-phase feedback to make necessary corrections let's say in amplitude.

With positive (in phase) feedback an amplifier may turn into a self-sustaining oscillator - with negative feedback applied it will not.

The answers of all others here are also correct....... feedback controlling the behavior of a person.

feedback is the process in which part of the output of a system is returned to its input in order to regulate its further output. for example if a teacher says to his students their marks he ''feedback'' them in order to excel them
