Asking questions or answering them?

I like both. But sometimes I have a hard time thinking up questions to ask.

I just got a call from a banking survey. First, they asked me about if I had seen advertising from specific banks on TV, radio, newspapers, bus ads, etc. I knew I had seen tons of bank ads, I could only remember maybe one ad by ING Direct in any useful detail, and I had to think a couple of minutes on that one.

Later in the survey, they described specific TV banking commercials, and I could remember most of them then, but only one of them I could remember which bank it was for.

Do I have bad memory, or is this normal?

Be honest with yourself for a moment and think about your answer before posting. Are you truly happy with the person you have become or do you want change in one form or another? What would that change, if any, be?

Statistically, the vast majority of shoplifters are women.

Most women find shoplifting to be a rush. Even if the women have the money to buy it -- we all remember the wealthy actress Winona Ryder getting busted for her shoplifting stints.

Women -- be honest, have you ever shoplifted, or have you at least thought about it at one point in time?

And I am a man, but I did shoplift once in my life. But I was a teenager doing "teenage" things. It wasn't a "rush," it was just me wanting a football jersey and I didn't have the money.

I have social anxiety disorder, I'm trying to find a job or go to school for something but it's like I make up an excuse for everything as to why I don't want to do it. I don't know if I really feel that way about the job like "it's going to be boring" or if it's just my fear of talking to people preventing me from doing things. I've seen two psychologists and neither of them helped. I mean my low self-esteem is getting better but I still don't like talking to people for fear of negative evaluation and looking like an idiot.

find an amazing sweet gurl and lie to her and she would believe you, would you go around cheating behind her back and then keep her as someone to fall back on?
would you lie to her and tell her you loved her?
What compells some guys to do that?

My mom passed away when I was 15, so I've been working since then to fend for myself. I have an apartment by myself, so I need to work a full time job, therefore, I cannot go to school full-time, not to mention the fact that I'm not sure what classes to even take. I've been doing customer service and retail since I was old enough to work. I'm 25 now and make $30,000 a year doing customer service, which is pretty good for not having a college degree. The problem is, I have no idea what I like and what I want. I know for sure, I do NOT want to work in customer service. Having a long resume is not good, so I cannot job hop to find my nitch. How did everyone else find what they wanted to do. Any advice?

why do you bother with us then?

By the questions that get posted here on Womens Studies one can only assume that the male gender is full of hate towards females, and yet men are still sniffing around wanting a little somthing. Is that all there is to it? Should we just give up and go back to the one night stands of the '70's. Is that what would make you guys happy? It obviously isn't our scintillating conversation.

Goes without saying that there are countless issues and that too dependant on situations and circumstances.

But never the less we can atleast try and explore the root of it all or perhaps the biggest issue or problem and then try and find an answer to it.

Since we are going to be sharing our views i would like to express mine----RAPE !!!

In my opinion this henious act is the root cause of gender gap and much of illwill.

What do you think??

Every time i look in the womens studies category a guy makes a rude comment and some woman makes a comment of not needing guys and that the sperm bank is only a drive away. Isn't it a little selfish when women actually do this? I mean why would you want to have a child when you know you can't give it every thing you possibly can? Pleasy don't bash me im simply asking a question.

A very interesting mindset i observed while reading the responses to my previous question.

A drunk woman saying yes to sex while highly intoxicated, rates right up with a small child who does not know any better.

In that case a man who is equally intoxicated and who has sex with this woman is responsible and punished as a rapist.

Why is the man not considerd a small child who does not know any better ?

Why is he held responsible for something that both parties were equally guilty to???

Indeed why are women not sent to sent to jail for having sex after consumption of alcohol or medicants , why only men???

Are we saying here that men can never be totally intoxicated and lose their capacity to decide but women always do???

Why doesent the legal system enact laws to ensure social responsibility rather than making one particualr gender scape goats for the systems own inability to deal with this problem?

In the end is this mindset really helping anyone?
