1993. Graduated from college, finally. Left my philandering husband. Shipped my spoiled rotten kids off to college, packed up and wasn't there when they came back. Got inducted into an international honors society. Got a terrific job in a cardiac ICU. Skydived for the first time. Started dating for the first time in my life. Lived alone in my own place for the first time. Woke up and got strong and quite effective. Got my first PC. Got published for the first time. And saw the Bolshoi Ballet. And, it's just been getting better and better ever since. : )

2005 mostly stands my memory because its just 2 years ago and not much happened.

1989 the year the wall came down.
after that 1991 when the soviet union was officially dissolved.
as a military brat i was taught my whole life communism was evil and the enemy of America and now they were gone...what was one to do.
yeah i was still too young to realize that just because adults say it doesn't make it so.
