Being left or right handed is supposed to reflect which side of the brain is more dominent.
Left handed people are supposed to be more creative and better at motor skills than right handed people, who are supposed to be more analytical.
I say "supposed to" because it's just a theory.
I'm right handed and very creative in art & music. However, I went to a strict private school, where the teachers belted you if you didn't write right handed! So, who knows, maybe I was naturally a "leftie" and had it beaten out of me???

I'm left-handed.
A lot of "lefties" hold their writing tools differently i.e. Their hand is curled in, putting pressure on the wrist.
That's usually how I notice they are left-handed.
Also "lefties" are right-brained. That is, their right side of the brain is more dominant than the left. That is because the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and vice versa.
People who are left-handed are known to be good with space. That is, they can organize their space well, good at packing boxes, puzzles, and Tetris.

im left handed. i haven't noticed any talent in me thats better then a right handed person. im really really bad at art so i don't think it helps me artistically but i do play the violin and im able to move my fingers more easily, i think its cause im left handed, i cant move the fingers on my right hand the way i do with my left while i play the violin. but honestly i think being left handed is more of a disadvantage then advantage.. its hard to write in notebooks since we go across the page and we get ink all over our hands. its so annoying. theres no difference to me

I am a lefty, and remember the disporoprtionate # of presidents who were, Jim Henson... can't remember a lot of others, but those made me proud of being different!
