This is my third question and I have not recieved any good advice on how I should go about becoming a more content and self motivated person. I have a hairy back and chest. My motivation, confidence, personal worth, and self esteem, since early high school has been low. Due to the remarks, insults, and situations I view involving men of hair. Im looking for a method that involves changing my internal perceptions of myself. This method would be better recieved if it were cost effective and permanent. I have these feelings of shame, of self loathing, and well just bad thoughts involving me, my family, and the world around. Ive tried shaving, wax, and all that ****. Hair grows back. I know why people want me to feel this way. It reminds them of our ancestoral relatives way down there in the evolutionary process. Im not an ape. But I am mentally broken down. Im not a deformed person. I know this. Im not really that portly either. I need a way to become a normal person, please.

I feel bad about the way that my life has turned out in comparison to others.

I constantly feel bad and sad about my marriage failing. I also do not have custody of my 15 year old daughter. I feel bad that I could not give her the best in life. She lives with her Dad in another state.

At my age, most people are busy raising their kids. They give their kids time, attention and love.

I am alone and have to find things for myself to do. I also don't have the satisfaction of seeing my child grow up.

I guess I do have to look at the positive - I am healthy and have employment at this time. I can also support myself financially and do not need to depend on anyone.

Yet, life seems incomplete without a family. I wonder if my mother-in-law's words will come true in that I will regret not putting my family back together.

My ex-husband wants to get back together with me. Yet, I don't want to because we have both not changed and it will be bad for our daughter.

Now i do not mean Hispanic, Spanish, English, German. I mean scientifically is there three categories? Caucasian, African, & Asian. I am not being racist or anything, and I realize their are a lot of sub cultures and such, but what are the main categories that they start with, are those the correct one?

Well thought-out answers would be appreciated. I would also like some examples if you have any where you realized that you had come crashing down.
I happen to have my own theory on this one, but I wanted to get your view on it. Thanks. :-)

This guy can read when I am not happy. I want to be able to snowball him for his own good. I have to come a bs artist quick. I have been told I do not have a poker face when we are trying to play a joke on someone they look at me to figure out if they are being had. They see it in my face.

If he asks am I sad or in a bad mood how do I get across to him I am terrific even though seeing him is making me feel like crap. He is the problem but he can never know. I need to be very secret about this because I have feeling for him and we can't since I am married. Any ideas. I can't tell him to go pound sand because in reality I want to be his friend but until I get these feelings under control. He charms me and flirts to get his own way. He has control of my feelings if I stay away from him I start to get better. If I have to see him in person I know I'll look at him and he will know. Sunglasses do work but he can tell by my body language too. What can I do?

This is a question that i just need to know the answer to. I have been confused on religion and spirituality for some time now. But lets forget that for now. If Science (Life) has proven that all life on Earth was made through evolution (basically from Bacteria to DNA to us) this would be the very start of life right? So why are we confused about religion and spirituality? I think its because every living thing carries different everything including differences and forms different Religion & Spirituality. So does this prove that all Religion & Spirituality is just simply belief and only belief? some religions & spirituality say Gods Goddesses or source of life is already in us. But since Life Science proves that were just part of evolution then does this also mean religion and spirituality is human made (man made?) i also would like some excellent sources and the best knowledge you have on this... thanks everyone.

because the truth is they do a lot. looks don't matter that much to women when they are ready to settle down and looking for a long term relationship. when it comes to sexual attraction, looks are the most important factor.

the truth is, when it comes to sexual attraction, women choose looks over personality, over money, over compatibility, even over sexual experience. come on, we all know most women, even in their 30s and older would much rather screw an 18 year old with no job and nothing in common with them if he's cute than an average looking, rich, successful guy around their age with a good job and personality who has a lot in common with them. so why do women act like they are different from guys and care about other things?

I can be out and around people but I'm afraid to say hi to strangers, I'm not sure if I should even say hi to complete strangers at all. Ontop of that I'm afraid to speak to people for fear of rejection and being negatively evaluated. I don't want to go the medication route. I don't have panic attacks or something, I just get really nervous.

My father always ignored me growing up. He would always tune me out if I talked for too long and would yell at me for making the slightest mistakes. I developed a habit of perpetually saying "I'm sorry" and I always end up with guys who are emotionally abusive. My sister didn't have the same problem as me. I'm trying to overcome it. Anybody have any advice?

I was fired from my job and left personal stuff in the office. My manager, who is a big jerk and bully, found it and looked through it, then proceeded to tell people about it. (One embarrassing thing was a receipt for a personals ad)

My manager also went through my email, where he found correspondence with two of my fellow employees, who I had crushes on (and made a fool of myself with by writing my feelings). I know I was wrong to do this on company email.

I got a new job, they found out, and I am working with someone who has contacts with my old job.

I'm really, really embarrassed and upset about this. I can't believe I was so naive and stupid to do this.

I work in a very small industry and feel like my name and reputation has been marred. I look like an utter fool.

How can I get through this? Am I ruined??

so there's a girl I know who was pushing for a friend of hers to date one of her guy friends. The other girl had doubts and said that she wasn't interested. Anyway, the girl kept pushing for her friend to go out with him. So she does. The couple gets into some minor fight and the guy breaks up with her. Then she finds out that this guy has a lot of girlfriends and one of them had been the girl pushing for the two to get together (they had been sleeping together the whole time). What would prompt a woman to act like that? It's baffling to me.

I become angry when someone doesn't greet me when I enter a restaurant to eat.

I expect people to thank me after I do something nice for them.

I expect people to look at me when I enter a room.

I get mad when someone doesn't hold eyes contact when I'm talking to them.

I resent co-workers who tell me what to do.

I look at myself in the mirrors every 10 minutes.
...

So what do you think? Those attitudes reflect a person with low-esteem or someone who's in love with himself?

I'm having trouble deciding which is which.

Consider what is 'feminine' now a days.
Consider what is 'manly' now a days.
Consider what is 'un-manly' and 'un-feminine' now a days.

Now if we were flung into another dark age where we lost all of our technology and modern conveniances would this change our preconceptions of what is manly and feminine now a days? How so?

If our definitions of what is 'manly' and 'feminine' are based on technology, then would that blur the differences between men and women? (ex: A male construction worker is considered manly, but he is assisted by machines that would make a woman able to do the job as easy and maybe even a little better. Mowing the lawn with gas powered lawn mower, or driving a tractor are other examples.)

If the lines are blurred then can we say that we really grasp what is manly and feminine?

Do you think this technology is perhaps negative (in terms of social development of sexes), and if so what are the foreseeable negative or positive effects that await us?

I wasn't married with my first daughter, but I didn't have all the choices that young girls have today, either!
Abortions were illegal, the birthcontrol wasn't on the market (much less free), doctors told the parents everything, and no one talked about Sex!!
I'm just surprised that 2 of my granddaughter's friends, age 17 - 19, are dued within the next 2 months. No jobs, no marriage or live-in boyfriend, never even lived on their own, and they do have the knowledge of sex & birthcontrol.
Sex is great, but a baby at the wrong time, isn't great.
So, why get caught if you don't have to?
