I become angry when someone doesn't greet me when I enter a restaurant to eat.

I expect people to thank me after I do something nice for them.

I expect people to look at me when I enter a room.

I get mad when someone doesn't hold eyes contact when I'm talking to them.

I resent co-workers who tell me what to do.

I look at myself in the mirrors every 10 minutes.
...

So what do you think? Those attitudes reflect a person with low-esteem or someone who's in love with himself?

I'm having trouble deciding which is which.

Nothing wrong with your sense of self esteem! You sound more like a jerk than anything else. You're narcissistic with little empathy for others. I'd be willing to bet that you don't have any friends. If you don't want to stay this way, get some therapy.

Well, it sounds to me like you need attention wherever you go. I don't think it's low self esteem and I'm not sure it;s vanity. It just sounds like you have very high expectations of others and want to be the center of attention. Looking in the mirror every 10 minutes sounds like you are a bit insecure. I suggest you seek counseling to talk out your feelings and how they affect you.

Low Self-Esteem and Vanity are the opposite ends of the spectrum.

On top of being Vain, you're also an idiot.
