If you sit around waiting for the right time it will never come, sometimes it's best to jump in with both feet.

It's never too late to start something new, even though it feels like it is. Also, no person is 100% restricted to what they may do, be it career, hobby or even lifestyle.
As aforesaid by another poster, start as soon as possible; never put it off because you'll keep doing it and suddenly you'll realise it's two months later and you still haven't done anything!
For example, in the past four years I've switched from hardcore martial arts to a short stint of breakdancing, before giving it all up and becoming a military cadet.
If you're talking about careers, go out and find something you'd love to do, take some more educational courses and qualifications, whatever you feel like!
For lifestyle, well, take it slowly. Perhaps start running every now and again. Be more active; get up earlier. Cut down on those bad habits, maybe?
My friend who's bored with his life is moving to the USA for a new start (he's currently in the UK).
Just a few ideas. I'm not too sure if this was answering your exact question.

If you think that you should change for the better right now, then do it. You'll regret it every passing moment you don't try to start a new beginning.

i don't think there is a right or wrong time, just when you feel it's time for a change. i've been stuck in the same place for years and plan to make some major changes to my life quite soon after i've had a holiday so it's never too late or the wrong time to change things.

There's no time like the present!! When you've made up your mind to make a change, start now before you lose your nerve.
Best of luck!

no other one person can answer that, it's for you, you should know when the time is right, you can't put dates on starting over, you'll know.
