I think if you hate somebody, you aren't usually too concerned about anything about them.

When you think of the word hate, do you think it goes as far as wanting that person dead?

Hate's indeed a strong word, and it can go to some extent on how much you want harm to that person. I doubt people would care about a person they truly hate.
