I have a friend who is dealing with two girls who don't like her. She does not speak to them, and they don't talk to her. They give her evil looks, and try to make her look bad. They work at the same place she does, but they have a higher job than she does.

I have a million definitions of all different kinds of validity, and I'm able to READ the book's definition, but it's not "clicking." If someone could put this in layman's terms for a lame person like me, I'd TRULY appreciate it!

I believe all women should have control over their own reproduction - it doesn't mean that I am pro-abortion - I am a man who thinks a woman should control her own body and the choices she makes. It should not be so political - it should be a personal decision between a woman and her Doctor.

When the govermaent kills a convicted murderer we call it justice, when a wife runs over her cheating husband with her car as he is exixting the hotel with his mistress, we call that revenge. Revenge and justice get the same point across, not to do it again because there are reprecussions. Revenge and justice are both forms of 'get back' and neither gaurantee the person administrating the acts peace and resolve. And if you ask me they both stem from the same places: anger, feelings of loss, and anquish. so what the heck makes them different?

Of course they'll be one, but do you find it hard to seek advice from them as our worlds are so different from each other. Being a 30-something and they being a 75+ something - it is hard to relate on many important matters of today. Just wondering if others have ran into the same problems.

I mean, I'm single and I have no desire to be with anyone right now. But people are always telling me things like, "oh don't play all those video games, men don't like it" or "do this, it'll drive the men crazy". When I meet a guy, I think of what kind of friend he'll be, not what kind of boyfriend. But when I'm out they'll try to find out if I'm single. If I tell them yes, then they'll assume that I'm looking. If I wear a tanktop or a skirt or whatever, they'll think I'm dressing for them when maybe it's just hot outside.
I know how conceited that sounds, but it's the truth and I hate it! Why do certain people seem to think that EVERYTHING is about getting a man? It'd be nice to have a boyfriend someday but it's the last thing on my mind. It's so animalistic to me.

Here's a breakdown. I love my husband and I know he loves me and our children, but he struggles with addiction. Addiction to computer games, alchohol, cigarettes, whatever. He spends any extra money we have. I believe he has a good heart and he knows he is doing wrong to us, but can't stop himself. When I try to talk with him he makes excuses & always seems to find a way to blame me. Yes, I picked him and he did these things when we got together, but we had similar dreams for our future and I've changed to accomodate. I used to drink and smoke too, but that's not appropriate now that we have little kids. He agree's with that when he's in a good mood, but then quickly falls back into his comfort zone. Having grown up with an alchoholic father, I don't want my kids to go through that. Have you any experience with a situation like this? I don't want to leave, but I look at myself and feel like an idiot for staying. Actions speak louder than words, how do I deal with this?

Allow me to introduce myself, I am JudgeX.

I frequently show my face here in order to help people solve problems, and often to learn.

You may have encountered me on many other websites doing similar things, or providing judgements for people who request them.

This series of questions, designed for Yahoo Answers, will be sometimes enjoyable, sometimes painful, and may push the limits of good taste.

Without further ado, let's begin.

Answer each question and provide REASONING for your answer.

Question 1:
You have been tied up by a psychopath who makes you an offer. He is going to either stab or shoot you. If you do not choose, he will slowly torture you to death.
You may choose either a butcher knife or a .45 caliber pistol. The psychopath gets to decide where to shoot, stab, or slice you, and he will be starting with your legs with both. Pistol or blade?

Make your choice.

How do I strong and not cry over such fake things? What do people think of when they see such sad things that make them not cry? I have tried thinking of happy thoughts and etc..doesn't work. And before I used to be very strong and then out of nowhere I became this emotional person. It's like I'm a totally different person....Please help....
