Take a video camera out when your daughter is playing n the yard. Video tape your daughter playing and when the neighbor comes out, turn the camera on her. Film her for a few minutes and then back to your granddaughter, if she doesn't stop, pan back to her. After that, the next time your daughter goes out to play, video the woman from inside your house at the window. Then walk back out with the camera and video the lady again. After you have proof that your child is not doing anything wrong and also have proof that this woman is giving your child dirty looks when she goes out side, then you can talk with the police or city council yourself.

I'd be having a chat with the woman. Ask her what her bloody problems is? If she says anything negative about your grand daughter, laugh and tell her she is a child - we all were children at one point. Ask your neighbor if she has any children or grandchildren. Chances are she does, but there in an estranged relationship. Judging from her wierd behavior she sounds like a miserable old bat. Tell your grand daughter to kill her with kindness. Maybe she can melt that frozen heart of hers! She's probably a very lonely and miserable person. I'd ovewhelm her with baked goodies, flowers and a nice chat every once in awhile. I bet she would appreciate that. People like that are generally very lonely and don't realize how unreasonable they are being if they don't get out much.

She seems like a sad, nosey old bint to me! She's probably got no friends or family. Every streets seem to have someone like this.

Ignore the old witch. Tell your kids to keep out of her way and to inform you if she bothers them.

If you have the balls, confront her. Ask her what the problem is. I'm sure she'll stop after that.

If she doesn't stop, and things are getting too much, have a word with your local Bobby (if you have one) or a Police Community Support Officer.

If she still doesn't stop, keep a diary of what she does and when. Then speak to the police and/or council.

Hopefully it won't come to that. She probably just a sad old curtain twitcher who means no harm.

Good luck and don't let her get to you.

absolutely weird. If you can, try to report her behavior to the council or some authority. If in your situation I would probably confront her directly but it is not the best idea. i have a bad temper when it comes to my loved ones. so maybe settling this with a 3rd party is the best way to go. I would definitely try to figure out what is going on. She is obviously causing you and your family stress. She has no right or no reason to do so.

Get up the nerve and go talk to her. Tell her what you have noticed and ask why? If she is very negative about it, which it sounds like she may, have the granddaughter bake something for her and take it over. Have your son shovel her walk, mow her lawn, pick up trash out of her yard. See if it makes a difference.

i suggest you get to the bottom of the prob by talking to your neighbor and nicely telling her that her actions are arousing concern on your part. if she takes it gently, then it means that it is only a natural action on her part. if she takes it badly, then there is cause for alarm. the most natiral thing to do is tell her off and warning her that next time she does it again, you will not hesitate to call the police. tell her it is only natural for you to protect your family.

if you do not want to confront your neighbor about this...it is very important that your neighbor knows that you notice her actions. e.g. if your granddaughter goes out and the neighbor follows...go out and stand by your daughter and look your neighbor straight in the eye. you have to let her know that you notice what she is doing.

and pls. do not allow your granddaughter to go out unattended. put a whistle around her neck and teach her to always wear it and teach her to blow it hard and run when she feels threatened by anybody.

Never let that child out of your sight not even for a second. The creep is probably not breaking any law. It's up to you to protect her don't count on law enforcement

She sounds like a child molester. Watching your granddaughter and waiting for an opportunity.
Don't let your granddaughter out of your site, in fact tell her your neighbor's a witch and must be avoided

I think you have a neighbor that does not like children and is trying to find any reason to bring against your granddaughter.
