Part 3 is up. Please complete part 1 and 2 if you have time as well.

Part 1: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070319074903AAkxvF6

Part 2: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070319082549AAUu2Oy

Please, if you cannot allow yourself to actually think and consider the pros and cons, do not answer these questions. Also, if you cannot choose one or the other, do not bother answering, as you are not correct.

And now, Part 3:
The love of your life has invited you to a cabin in the woods. Upon arriving, he/she tells you that she has contracted a deadly virus that will become active within 3 hours if he/she is not killed. His/her religious beliefs prevent him/her from suicide, so they have asked you to do the "honors".

If left unchecked, the virus could kill many, many people (between 50 and 100,000), but the initial 10 carriers will be immune as the virus matures. There is no cure and quarantine is impossible. What do you do?

I had a dream few days ago that seemd strange to me, In real life I have long dark hair with highlights and in my dream I cut myself my hair with a pair of scissors but the just over the back part of my head and I let it about 2 cms long but I didn't cut my hair just next my hair and nape. After doing that I repented of having cut my hair, and i felt desparated so I comb my hair in a way that was not very visible the stupid new haircut, and it seemed to work.

I am going to generalize so please correct me if I am wrong.

There are two ways to receive validation, through achievement and through relationships.
Men receive most of their validation through achievement.
Women receive most of their validation through relationships.

Correct? If not, then that means that one obtains their validation through themselves only, which seems completely unhealthy to me. If you believe in this case then can you PLEASE explain to me HOW living only for yourself can be considered healthy?

But if my generalization is true, then please explain how someone who needs other people for validation can call herself independent.

Do you believe that if you see someone in your dream that you dont know in real-life, that you will meen then at one point in your life? (it could just be walking past them in the mall of something)

What is ur opinion? Do you think that they are just people you make up in your mind? Tat you have taken parts of people you know of and put them together to make this new person?

This is a strange question. I have had people tell me that when I'm thinking or talking I have my head down. The deal is I'm not aware that I'm doing it when I do it.

I do tons of public speaking. It tends to occur only in one on one conversation (job interviews, dating, general conversation).

I might be shy or nervous at these moments.

How in the heck do I make myself aware that I'm doing this and how do I fix it?

Lately I am becoming increasingly withdrawn.

I have stopped speaking to my collegues (fellow students) who I have known for 3 years and used to be friends with

I them see them every day but now I hardly even say "hi" and they don't talk to me either.

I am convinced for some reason that they do not respect me, it is like there is a conspiracy against me.

And there seems to be no particular reason for this. Instead of developing working relationships / friendships, I am interacting less and less with them and with my lecturers.

The future seems hopeless.

I am graduating this year and I am worried that when I leave I will lose contact and have no friends and none of my tutors will give me a good reference for jobs.

is it healthy to be in a relationship if you are unsure of yourself? Why does this happen.. does it have to do with age (im 22). I feel as if I cannot give anything to a realtionship right now because I am struggling with myself. Why am I looked at as selfish.. what can I do? I don't want to lose people in my life but they don't understand:( I can not see who I am anymore. I am trying to listen to myself but cannot because I always listen to others. How can I keep a healthy mental state.. my mom thinks i'm going insane. Help- especially if u had a similar experience or are a professional.. or leave words of wisdom :)

An ex and I ended things very badly. We we were very close. it was special. However, something happened and he became very cold and hrtful to me. Much was involved including a child he had with someone else, before we met. I helped him thru much of this. Anyhow, we exchanged hurtful words and have not spoken in over a month or so. I didn't expect him to call me, although I hoped he would. But everyday, it ate at me, the things I said to him and the way I behaved. Last night, I called him and I got his voice mail. I left him a message & told him that I was sorry, and that no matter what, as a friend, I only wanted him to be happy & I should have backed away, knowing a child was involved.I will admit he was wrong about much, but there was much confusion involved.I dont know what he thinks, but I feel a sense of relief.Was I stupid?Should I not have called?I also said that I don't expect to hear from him and its ok.And I think I will be, if I never hear from him again.I am human after all

Ok I recently had a very scary experience with a medium on chat line, and I really hope someone can give me a explaination of how this was possible. Because I feel very crazy, it was unbelievable, yet it is really hard to disbelieve.

Firstly let me explain I studied karate for just over 2 years and got to a green/blue belt level in that short a time.

i did believe in Ki but did not necessaryarily know the aplications.

some months before I left the club, I got a very strange urge to call a tarot chat line. When I spoke to the tarot reader she gave a very detailed description of my Sensai, and some of the things where going on in my life. I found this really disturbing, because I asked no leading questions.

then i got through to a meduim, who told me that my karate sensai had manifested himself in my aura, and was speaking to her about my progress in the club. Firstly is this in any way possible, because I feel really scared by this and secondly how do mediums/tarot work.

I drempt that I commited suicide. I am not suicidal. At least I don't think I am. I am going thru a lot right now. My ex has put me thru the ringer. It is tearing me and the kids apart. Emotionaly I am holding on, but, I am getting so tired of no one listning or helping me and my kids. The court system does not work. My kids want to spend time with their dad despite all the things he has done to them. They are at risk when they are with him, even supervised.
I drempt that I commited suicide, then after I did I seen what it was doing to my kids and family that I wanted so bad to undo what I did. My dream was so real. I can't remeber all of it. I remember wanting one more chance. I was not in heaven but, following the ones I love. I couldn't talk to them, or help them. My kids were getting hurt and I couldn't stop their dad. I was dead!!!!!!!! What does this mean?????
Please help me make sence of it. Thanks

When for example I have had to defend fiercely, the right to post an opinion and in return, may be, by just a few people
ignorantly or prejudicially attacked, only because they, in their supposed safe anonymity Can and therefore WILL!
However for the very most, I have enjoyed this virtual, cyber-space reality for many reasons. From the comical to the serious, from the sad to the most cheerful.

I have a question today, for anyone out there who has had similar experiences, as I have described?
* What do you especially like about this website?
* What have you learned, positively and negatively about It?
* About yourself?
* About others?
* Does the website, rather, the variety of issues, questions, answers it offer through a myriad of diversity in people - sometimes make you feel as if you were on a see-saw?
* If yes, please offer an example of your experience.
* have there been times when you are DECIDED to Just QUIT IT?
* When you've chosen to stay . .
* What compels you to stay?
