Para Psychology - meduim and tarot - some one please answer this so I can put my mind at rest.?

Question

Ok I recently had a very scary experience with a medium on chat line, and I really hope someone can give me a explaination of how this was possible. Because I feel very crazy, it was unbelievable, yet it is really hard to disbelieve.

Firstly let me explain I studied karate for just over 2 years and got to a green/blue belt level in that short a time.

i did believe in Ki but did not necessaryarily know the aplications.

some months before I left the club, I got a very strange urge to call a tarot chat line. When I spoke to the tarot reader she gave a very detailed description of my Sensai, and some of the things where going on in my life. I found this really disturbing, because I asked no leading questions.

then i got through to a meduim, who told me that my karate sensai had manifested himself in my aura, and was speaking to her about my progress in the club. Firstly is this in any way possible, because I feel really scared by this and secondly how do mediums/tarot work.

secondly I don't want to believe that this is in any way possible but I have this deep disturbing feeling that it really is real and I am losing my marbles.

I told a friend who is catholic and she thinks I should trust in god, but I don't believe in god.

I believe that we are beings with a soul, and mind, but that when we die, we go to the places we choose to believe, but this is simply a comfort thing. I believe in reincarnation, but I also believe in oblivion and that if there is a god it is simply a source of energy which we return too.

i don't want to have to take up a religion, I just want to know if there is any way I can confront this fear, or even research how it is done. I know that ki can be given and I believe in ki healing and I do believe that someone can read your body language or your voice, but how can they do that over the phone?

I want to say I asked know questions of the medium, that is why it is so scary he just manifested himself around me is what she said. that is the scariest thing of it all. I don't want someone around me. because I believe that there are things which are not yet explainable, by science and even freud believed in a latent psychic ability

sorr I asked her no questions, except to say work. but that is the weirder thing, because the karate sensei always said karate was work, but to me it was karate.

ok I want an explaintion on how this could be possible with regard to energy, and if that is in any way possible by ki and aura, but then how does a phone line tune into that, and why focus solely on karate.

My wife is a medium, and believe me, before I met her I was the most sceptic person on earth.

I learned a lot over the many years I am with my wife, and I expereinced some thigns i would not have though possile before.

First of all, spirituality is a quality and has absoluetly nothing to do with religoin. It is not a religion, is not an alternative or competition to religion, is has nothing to do with it because religion is about "believing", and spirituality is about "facts".

Fact is, we all are born with instincts and psychic abilities, which we loose ofer the years because we don't rrain them and are brugh up in a non-supportive way 9with regards to this skills).

Why do birds know an earthquake is coming and leave the place minutes before?

Just like we KNOW that there is electrivicy, mangentism and radioactive rays but we cannot see, hear, feel or smell them, there are other talents we can't sense, but they are as real as can be. These quakities mediums do have. YOU can tarin them to (I know because I did).

Manifesting or remote viewing is a very ordinary techniceuq amongst mediums and with a little pratice even you can do it, there is nothing scary about and there is no reason for concern, it's just because it's new to you that worries you.

It can't be expalined how it works, because if it could be explained, it could be bottled and sold, or better, it could easily be tought. While you can pratice and learn it, it's hard to explain, because it's a gift inside you.

Try to explain karate. It's not just about the right steps and movements, and doing a high degree kata has more to do with philosopy and years of mental pratice than with "fighting", right?

Just as difficult as to explain to a novice what a 6th degree kata means, it is to explain how medial craftmanship works.

Just allow it to be and accept it. You accept pilks your doctyor is giving you without extely knowing how the stuff inside works to make your headache go away, don't you?

Try to accept mediality the same way and embrace it. It is a good thing and can help you.

If you were so likely to get scared by the outcome, why did you ring the chatline??

I'm fairly sceptical about telephone tarot but its not inconceivable that it would work. Usually a medium or a reader needs to be near the person or have something belonging to them so as to give a reading.

I don't believe that a medium could read your aura over the phone, but even if they could, I'd ask yourself WHY your sensai would bother manifesting himself in your aura. I've never seen or heard anything like that before and I think it's probably bollocks.

You must have given away more than you intended to - these people are trained to pick up on verbal and non-verbal cues. Once they hit a mark they would have been able to hear it in your voice.

Don't ring the lines again if you are going to get scared by the outcome. That's like people who go on ghost hunts and get scared when they see paranormal activity ... bloody ridiculous.

firstly, for HarryMay: some circumstances will appear real enough to believe, but God is such an old belief that most people feel, even subconciously, that he is not the only available belief, and so pull away from Him.

is your sensai dead?

if so, you must have been a prize student for him to have chosen you. if you want to get him away, or feel he has hostile feelings, try purple light, or just commanding him in an authorative voice to leave.
if you think he needs help to put his soul at rest (sounds silly, but could be the case), try asking him?

in recent years scientists have found evidence in magnetism and Lei Lines supporting the existence of ghosts. however, the more narrow minded of souls still refuse to accept this proof.

i dont know about karate, so sorry if i have missed the definition of "sensai", but i do know about ghosts

the reading can be real and you can be sane. Ki is a type of energy, everything is composed of energy. soliditiy is a function of movement. There are martial arts where the person can apply the ki in a way that seems like magic to the nonpractioner. You are the nonpractioner in Tarot.

People who are involved in chatlines of the sort you mention are very good at picking up on subliminal suggestions in the conversation. you may not have been aware you were doing it but I would imagine that the line of questioning and your responses actually guided the person on the other end of the telephone to the description of your sensai and events in your life. This does occur without the individual knowing.

If you are scared by it, trust that gut feeling and run the other way. All that stuff can be a scary thing and I think that we aren't supposed to mess with it. Try to forget about it, if you can and focus on something else.

I know you don't believe in God... but I think that there are spiritual battles between him and Satan all the time, that we don't know about... and Satan tries his best to bring us down, through whatever means he can.

I don't know how mediums and tarots work and I don't want to know. That whole thing kind of scares me too.

We are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. If you got "invited" that probably means that you were pre-investigated and somebody decided that you would probably be a good target.

The fact that THEY CONTACTED YOU FIRST makes me extremely suspicious. If you continue your communications with these people it will probably lead to a situation where they will want you to send them money.

It has nothing to do with CHI! Chi is just life force and, no matter how you consider it, to the best of my knowledge nobody has ever associated it with transmitting personal information!

Whoever you spoke to is probably cold reading (vaguer statements that take you where you want to go) with a few minor prompts from you. Believe in what you want, but don't let people take your money in exchange for some misleading rubbish. Seriously.
