When i was 22 (and unmarried), I met a married woman at a bar/ club. She was older, but still relatively attractive and our personalities just clicked. she was out with her friends. seemed to be happy enough about her life, and wasn't outto pick up a guy - she was taken aback by the whole thing.

It turned into a romp in the back seat of her truck.

So now my wife, 43, and a 7 out of 10 for her age, goes out with her freinds dancing once a month, more or less. They have a real blast. She’s come home tipsy. At least one of her freinds, I know, has a small reputation for fluziness. I come to learn she carries a rubber in her purse. i ask why . . . she said she and her freidns agreed they'd all always carry one because of a scare that happened to a mutual freind. its not to use, she assured, it 'just in case'

just in case of what?

i think about it - we’ve been married 17 years and we are very stable, but we don't have a whole lot of sex anymore. i highly highly doubt she'd ever leave me -she’s not going to throw it all away - but could she have gotten boinked or be open to the possibility?

and if so should i get mad? On the one hand, I think what goes around comes around. More importantly, crazy as it sounds, I feel like good for her . . . don't she deserve some?

So, 1) help me assess the liklihood she is, 2) she I stick with the progressive attitude or shift back to a more traditional approach?

I'm 21 yrs old. About two years ago, I moved from Massachusetts to Alabama (mainly due to my mother wanting to be closer to family). My father still lives in Mass. About a year ago I went back to MA to visit for a week. When I came back to AL I was depressed for like a month. I wanted to move back to MA so bad. This past week, two girl friends of mine came to visit me in AL for the week. We went to FL for a few days. We spent a lot of time together. They left earlier today to go back to Mass and now I feel kinda of empty and alone. I have friends here in AL, but I always feel like MA is my home and thats where my true friends are. I want to move back to MA so bad, but my mother totally disaproves. Is it normal to feel so empty now? What would you do?

An ex and I ended things very badly. We we were very close. it was special. However, something happened and he became very cold and hrtful to me. Much was involved including a child he had with someone else, before we met. I helped him thru much of this. Anyhow, we exchanged hurtful words and have not spoken in over a month or so. I didn't expect him to call me, although I hoped he would. But everyday, it ate at me, the things I said to him and the way I behaved. So tonight, I called him and I got his voice mail. I left him a message and told him that I was sorry, and that no matter what, as a friend, I only wanted him to be happy and I should have backed away, knowing a child was involved. I will admit he was wrong about much, but there was much confusion involved. I dont know what he thinks, but I feel a sense of relief. Was I stupid? Should I not have called? I also said that I don't expect to hear from him and its ok. And I think I will be, if I never hear from him again. I just

I live with an alcoholic I just adore... I don't want to live with an alcoholic anymore. But I love him... I can't help it. I'm an alcoholic myself and I haven't had a drink in two years. He does not make me feel like drinking at all. But sometimes he pisses me right off! I forgive easily... I love him!!!

Anyone else living the same kind of situation? Tell me I'm not the only one!

Oh... please don't tell me thing like: leave him, you're hurting yourself, blah blah... already heard enough of that!

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

There's a relatively cheap summer program at FIT a few of my friends are going to. I'd like to go, but I don't think design and pharmacy really correlate with each other.

They do offer other courses as well, though.
If not Philosophy, I'm thinking..
General Psychology
Introduction to the Physical Sciences
Introduction to Biological Science

I'm really looking for anything that would look good on my college application.

Some ladies at our church are planning a spring luncheon and the entertainment they are planning is for people to bring quilts and have their quilts' stories told and let the women walk around and look at the quilts.

Also, how much would you be willing to pay for this luncheon?

$15? $20?

Thanks for your help!

I think to just be yourself, whether in dating or your daily interactions means to hold fast to your own personal core principles, morals, values. Everything esle is changable, or non essetial in defining being yourself; even personality changes as we grow older, what we found humorus two years ago may not be so today, etc. What do you guys think?

A lot of people say the only people you can and should love unconditionally are your kids.

An argument you can make for this is that if you unconditionally love your kids, you can't unconditionally love anyone else, because you would stop loving them if they hurt your kids, making the love conditional for anyone but them.

I would argue against this in two ways. First, you can love somebody else who's not your kid as much as you'd love your own child, be it a niece or nephew, best friend, or even your boyfriend or girlfriend. You don't call your boyfriend or girlfriend "baby" for nothing.

Second, it's possible to have unconditional love for two people, even if one love is stronger than the other. For example, I love my mom. If I had kids, I'd love them more than I love her.

If my mom did something horrible to my kids, I would avoid her, but I'd still want what was best for her. There's no reason to lose her as well as my kid, even if things could never be the same.

I don't want them to feel stupid coming to my class. I want it to sound official, but appealing. I want them to know that, if they attend my class and seminars, they'll learn techniques to get them laid. But I don't want them to be embarrassed about coming.

I don't really understand how you associate the two....
And I understand the big deal of loosing your virginity, but whats up with innoence. When you think about it virginity seems more like your just having sex, loosing your innoncence seems more like making love......Anyway I need to know how you get innoncence out of virginity. Because I thought innocence being lost was when you did something wrong or dirty, a crime......

Early morning (between midnight and 4am) I was awake using the computer as was usual. I went to the kitchen to get a snack, and as I'm coming back down the hallway, I felt something. You know how even when it's dark, if you're about to bump into something, you can feel it? I looked and saw a shadow in front of me. I figured it was my grandmother and said "Excuse me grandma" and put my hand out to see where she precisely was and there was nothing there and the shadow was gone. Later that week I went to bed, and I was awakened by something forcefully pushing my head backwards. I was laying on my left side, and I thought my grandmother was coming to wake me up for work. It was still pitch dark and something just shoved my head backwards. Sometimes I'll be laying half asleep and feel a heavy weight on my chest and hear really scary voices and feel a presence and try to scream but all that comes out is moans and I am told I cry. So...do these sound like hauntings or something psychological?
